Easter Egg-esque

Top: 'Be My Daisy' Tank c/o August Wrinkle
Pants: 'Jegging Ankle' in Lavender - American Eagle - Find it HERE
Sandals: Forever 21 (Old)
Bracelets: Target
Earrings: 'Daisy' by Jewelmint

Happy April! I've already said this in my previous post, but I am SO glad April is here! The weather here has been fantastic (in the 70s) and I have been soaking up as much sun as possible. Every year we get a little of this before it goes back to freezing and windy until late May and June (last year, it was cold all the way into July!), and I'm hoping this isn't the case this year! Fingers crossed it stays warm!!

Easter Sunday was a pretty relaxing day filled with church and family and friends. I dressed for the occasion in the prettiest pastels I could find. My family told me multiple times that I reminded them of an Easter egg in my pastel hues, but hey, I was totally digging it.

This top from August Wrinkle has been hidden away in my closet for quite some time, just waiting for a warm spring day. I wore it in Hawaii, but sadly the pictures did not turn out. Luckily, Easter was the perfect occasion for this springy top. I love the minty color and sweet daisy print that definitely feeds my print obsession. It has the perfect hint of sheerness and the layers throughout the front add the perfect floaty touch that I adore. If I had to pick one piece of clothing in my closet that defines spring, this would be it! This top is a must have for any spring wardrobe!!

My color of the moment?! Lavender. I have been so drawn to it lately, that when I saw these jeggings I HAD to have them!!! These jeggings are seriously amazing and fit like a glove. Plus, the color combo of the mint top and lavender pants is perfection. Mixed with nude sandals and pretty rose gold bangles, I felt just pastel-y enough for Easter. Easter egg-esque? Yes Please!

  7. If you were an easter egg, I'd put you in my basket, Ashley! <3

Hehehe. You really do look like an adorable, pastel-y easter egg, though. And I mean that in the most positive of ways! You're precious, and I can see why you've been digging lavender--you look so lovely in it! The color is positively pastel and precious (that's a lot of P's, yeah?).

I hope the rest of your week is awesome!

  15. Don't you love when you can start wearing spring clothes again?
Also your pants are the cutest thing. My favourite spring nail polish is OPI's Lucky Lucky Lavender, you would love it, it looks just like those pants, not too bright, not too pastel.
