Take Me Back Thursday + #WIWT

Tunic: The Oxford Trunk - available in more sizes here || Shorts: American Eagle (all shorts currently buy one, get one 50% off!) || Sandals: Old - currently craving any of these gladiator sandals || Hat: Target || Bracelets: Forever 21 cuff and Loves Affect tassel bracelet

I can't believe I completely spaced on the last few sets of vacation pictures! Looking at these definitely made me want to jump on a plane and head back to Cancun, hence the title. Today is totally take me back Thursday!

This tunic was definitely one I repeated while on vacay! Not only did it work tucked into shorts, but it was also the perfect cover-up! On top of that, it makes a super cute dress! I can't wait to wear it this summer! This was another fabulous find from The Oxford Trunk, but I was so excited to see that one of my new favorite boutiques, Kelly Fields, carries it too and has more sizes in stock! Check it out in pink and the super cute navy option here (I may need to pick up the navy!).

If there is anything I am currently on the hunt for, it is a new pair of gladiators! The ones I am wearing have been through a lot with me! Multiple vacations and summer after summer of daily wear, and I am in need of an upgrade. I am not sure if I want a pair of super tall gladiators or flat gladiators...maybe I will just get a pair of each!

Put a Tassel On It

TOP: Kelly Fields Boutique Chambray Tassel Tank c/o || PANTS: Topshop Moto 'Leigh' Distressed Skinnys || SHOES: Old - almost identical here || NECKLACE: Bauble Bar || BRACELETS: Bauble Bar || BAG: Rebecca Minkoff Medium 'Mab' Tote || SUNNIES: Karen Walker || HAT: Target

If you've followed my blog for a while, you know I have an unhealthy addiction to anything and everything with a tassel on it. Doesn't it just seem though that when you put a tassel on it (and by it, I really do mean anything/everything) it automatically makes it 10 times better?

When I saw this necklace and this bracelet set on Bauble Bar, I instantly knew I needed them in my accessory auxiliary! Not only do they have tassels, they are also super fun and bright and will pair perfectly with just about anything this summer! For a fresh spring look, I paired them with white denim and a chambray top. However, this Kelly Fields Boutique chambray tank isn't just any chambray tank...look closely...it has TASSELS! This top needs to be in your wardrobe ladies! It is such a fun spin on chambray, because as I said before, putting a tassel on it always makes it better!

A Pop of Yellow

Kimono: c/o Pink Blush - sold out but adore this and this
Tank: c/o Pink Blush
Wedges: Nordstroms
Clutch: Love Moschino via ASOS c/o
Bracelets: Bauble Bar

Happy Tuesday!
I've got a busy week ahead of me, but it already seems to be passing quickly! I can't believe the school year is almost over. It will be summer vacation before I know it...one of the major perks of being a teacher!
We are also in the double digits until the wedding! I still have major work to do, but I am planning on getting the smaller crafty things done over summer vacation. Too bad I am the least crafty person in the world...anybody with me??

I have been LOVING wearing all of my spring and summer pieces lately! Bright colors, bold prints and lots of flowy fabrics have been on repeat! This yellow clutch by Love Moschino via ASOS is literally EVERYTHING. Such a fun piece to add into the mix! I can't get enough of the bright color and fun heart detailing. It is definitely going to be a staple for me this summer! It also comes in pink

Pink and Flirty

Dress: Chicwish 'Hot Pink Flare Hem' Dress
Jacket: Forever 21
Necklace: Bauble Bar
Clutch: Star Mela
Hat: Target
Shoes: Old - almost identical here

There are a few things I have been loving lately...flirty hemlines and mixing my absolute brightest pieces. This outfit is a prime example of my two obsessions! I had forgotten how fabulous a good drop waist dress could be until recently. Now I've been wearing them like crazy! This dress from Chicwish is so fun. The bright color and fun hemline make it easy to dress up or down. I wore it with chunky heels, a statement necklace, denim jacket and embroidered clutch for a more laid-back Sunday date, but love that I can change it up for a more chic look with strappy sandals, a more neutral bag and necklace.

Another thing I've been absolutely obsessed with?? Embroidered bags! Star Mela makes the ABSOLUTE cutest bags I have ever seen. I love the bright colors, mix of threads and fabrics and the intricate details of each one. You definitely need to check out Star Mela for a fun piece to add to your summer collection!

Distressed + Embroidered

 Top: c/o Chicwish
Jeans: Blank NYC
Wedges: Nordstroms
Sunnies: Karen Walker

Now that summer is quickly approaching and sunshine and warm weather are upon us, I am eagerly getting dressed in the morning. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good pair of boots and cozy scarf like any girl, but it is SO hard to get up and get dressed in the morning in the winter knowing no matter what I put on, I am going to be cold. I am a summer girl through and through! Things are so much simpler in the summertime, including getting dressed! I can throw on light-weight pieces, not having to stress about layering up, and bright colors and sunshine are in abundance. Can you tell I am just a tad excited??

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of distressed skinnies and I hit the jackpot with these from Blank NYC! I am not sure how I have never heard about them before, but they have quickly become my favorite denim brand. The best part?? They are a total score at under $100! In fact, most of the Blank NYC  denim line is under $100! They are so comfortable, I love the wash and distressing and the fit is perfect (I ordered my typical denim size!). They have already been on repeat this past week and you can plan for them to be repeat offenders around here! I absolutely loved the laid back look of them paired with this embroidered off the shoulder top, bright clutch and wedges!

Repeat Offender + #WIWT Link-Up!

 Jacket: Forever 21
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff
Sunnies: Anthropologie - similar

Nope! You aren't having deja vu! You have seen this dress around these parts before! In fact, it was less than a week ago that I shared this dress as one of my Mexico vacation outfits! I told you I have been wearing it a lot!

Now, let's be real. Who isn't a repeat offender when it comes to clothing? If you invest in a piece, chances are that you are planning on wearing it again and again....and again. As fun as it would be to have a brand new outfit every single day, it's not realistic. Real women wear and re-wear and part of the fun is mixing and matching to style old pieces in new ways. Now I may not have gone crazy with re-styling this dress, as I just added a denim jacket and changed out the shoes (which are my all time favorite piece to repeat in my wardrobe!), but the point is that even though you don't always see me repeat on the blog, repeating in real life is a must and a given!

You also may have noticed my obsession with Rebecca Minkoff. Her crossbody bags are the perfect size and come in a wide variety of styles and fun colors. I think the thing I like the most about Rebecca Minkoff crossbody's is that while they are a pricier purchase, they still won't break the bank and it's a classic style that you are sure to get tons of wear out of!

I hope you don't mind that I am being a huge repeat offender today, but I think I will try and share a few more of my favorite repeats on the blog more often!
