Ruffle Sleeve Mini Dress // Plaid Scarf // Floppy Hat // Suede Boots // Bag

This ruffle sleeve mini dress might be the cutest item in my closet! This summer I had a huge crush on anything with ruffle sleeves and even though the season has changed, my love for all things ruffles remains! The moment I spotted this ruffle sleeve mini dress, I knew it was the perfect little summer mini. I wore this quite a few times this summer, from a dinner date to a day on the lake (see how I styled it here) When I rotated my wardrobe from summer to fall (anybody else do this?), I had a hard time putting this one away. I decided to keep it out and bring it into the colder season with me!

This ruffle sleeve mini dress is the perfect neutral for layering! I paired it with a cozy plaid scarf in autumn tones ( only $26!) and my favorite (and most comfortable) heeled boots for a fall Saturday. As the weather gets colder, this mini dress will be perfect paired with some leggings! I actually plan on wearing this exact same outfit with leggings to work! It’s the perfect cute and casual outfit, but I love the fun touch the ruffle sleeves add! It’s official, this ruffle mini will be on repeat all year long!

I can’t believe it’s already mid-October! I feel like this month is flying by! October is one of my favorite months in the classroom as our class learns all about pumpkins. The past few years, we have even carved pumpkins in class, and despite the craziness that always ensues, I love watching my firsties with this hands on experience. Speaking of pumpkins, I have yet to make my way to the pumpkin patch this year and I hope to before the end of the month! Have you been to the pumpkin patch yet?

Is there anything better than a sweater dress? It’s an easy way to stay cozy while still looking cute! I find myself reaching for my sweater dresses frequently in the fall to create an effortless outfit. This option is perfectly oversized and made of the softest chunky knit. When it gets colder, I plan on pairing it with over the knee boots. It’s easy to dress up or down and will be perfect to wear to work or on the weekend. I am linking up some more sweater dress options that I am loving below! You will definitely see me style more sweater dresses this fall and winter!

It’s been a long time coming, but I finally made the switch from Blogger to WordPress and so far I am loving it! I’ve been on Blogger since 2011 (how crazy is that?! Get a good laugh and check out one of my first posts here) and probably should have made the switch sooner, but as someone who doesn’t like change, I was super nervous! The team over at pipdig made the migration seamless and I could not be happier! The process was quick and they handled everything for me…something I was really stressed about! If you haven’t made the switch, I highly recommend doing so and can’t recommend pipdig enough!

The temperatures have officially dropped and fall has arrived in full force. I’ve been wearing boots and sweaters to work and have STILL been cold throughout the day! It’s time to start layering up!

With the temperature change, I knew it was time for a wardrobe refresh for the new season and I picked up some fall essentials from Nordstrom that are perfect for layering! Cozy, neutral knits are must haves! I love finding pieces that are versatile and can easily take me from work to the weekend! The Nordstrom Trend section is ALWAYS the first place I check for their amazing prices and great selection. I love finding the seasons best trends and classic closet staples all in one place!

I love neutral pieces that are easy to mix and match and I can wear all fall and winter long! A few pieces from a recent order

have become some of my favorites. This neutral sweater is something I will be wearing a ton. It is under $50 and comes in 5 colors. It has a flattering v-neck and the longer length is perfect for wearing with leggings. These booties are under $100 and a total steal! They are so comfortable and I am loving the cognac color! Some new fall accessories, like a cozy blanket scarf and wool floppy hat help to complete any fall outfit. Adding a scarf to my outfit is one of my favorite ways to accessorize in the chillier months as it helps keep me warm all day!

Cardigan c/o // Peplum Tank // Levis Distressed Denim // Similar Mules // QUAY Sunnies

// Necklace // Similar Bag Here and Here //

I’ve officially found my new favorite cardigan! I will definitely be living in this cozy cardi all fall and winter long! It’s the perfect weight for layering up as it gets cooler. I love the length, the stripes and the fact that it has pockets! While it’s still in the 70’s, I’ve been pairing it with distressed denim, casual tanks and my favorite mules, but plan on wearing it with OTK boots and a long sleeve tee in the coming weeks.
