Yeah…I Really Own That

Every closet has at least one of those “Yeah…I really own
that” pieces.

What is a “Yeah…I really own that” piece you might ask? It
is a piece of clothing that you purchased at some point in time and are not
really sure why. At the time of purchase it seemed like a great idea, but
eventually you forget all of the reasons why/how it made its way into your
closet and are left with only feelings of buyer’s remorse or embarrassment. You
would think these would be the first things to go when you have a major closet
purge, but for some reason or another you just can’t let them go.

Introducing the “yeah…I really own that” monster hiding in
my closet…..The Miley Cyrus Playsuit.

I’ve never been one to shop at Wal-Mart, but a few years back when the Miley Cyrus line came out I had to take a peak. For some reason, this romper and it’s price tag jumped out at me and yes, you guessed it, it came home with me. Fast forward 2 years later and here it is, emerging from the depths of my closet for the first time.

Determined to make it work, I paired it with a blazer, wedges, a skinny belt and a top knot for a more sophisticated look. I’m still not sure how I feel about it and it might be on it’s way to a better home soon, but what do you think??

Do you have a “Yeah…I Really Own That” piece of clothing?

Ha, that's hilarious. I think you styled it really well. You pulled it up from "Yeah…I Really Own That" to "Yeah…I OWN That." 😉

The biggest "Yeah…I Really Own That" thing in my closet is a rainbow print Harajuku Lovers bag. Even when I bought it, I thought "Gee, I should probably be 20 years younger than I am to carry this." I just thought it was too cute! Still haven't carried it yet, because … yeah … lol

Haha I'm pretty sure anyone who does a lot of shopping has a "Yeah…I really own that" piece xD I know I do! I try cleaning out my closet now and then, and some of the monstrosities I pull out I cannot believe. Its like wow…I really paid money for this?
But I think the Miley romper is SO cute the way you styled it! A blazer and wedges really classed it up. You definitely turned it from a "meh" piece to a WOW! Haha, cute style and blog girl. 🙂

As one of your nearest and dearest, here is my honest opinion. 😉 When you are wearing it separate, it sorta makes your booty look wide. You can't pull of the Sarah booty my dear, you are too little/adorable/model's body for that. However, the blazer and accessories make me really love this outfit! -Love Always, your comfy clothed friend
