Hello friends!

I am so sorry for the inconsistent blogging lately! Honestly, it has been hard getting back into the swing of things after the wedding and honeymoon! I’ve currently been spending my days settling in to our new place, which has turned in to a gigantic disaster zone. I am such a perfectionist when it comes to setting things up and I like things in their forever home the first time I put them away. This makes for quite the mess as things are literally scattered everywhere while I decided and spend time considering where their perfect forever home should be. Give me a week and I will hopefully have everything in order! Anybody else like this?

On top of all of this, I head back to work soon, which will cause blogging inconsistency again as I settle in to a new school year. I will be spending some time working out a new blogging schedule that works well alongside work AND being a newlywed. That’s right…got to make some time for hubby too:)

This outfit has been one of my go to’s lately! I love that I can throw this little printed dress on and automatically look put together! I have been wearing my hat almost every day as well, as I find it is the perfect cover for not wearing makeup or doing my hair. Thank goodness for hat days!

    This dress looks so comfy but it's so adorable too! I love the hat as well. Nothing like a functional accessory 😉

    First of all I LOVED that dress on GM but wasn't about to pay $100+ for it. Leave it to SheIn to come out with a dupe for $10 hahaa! I freaking love that site.

    Second of all, I am the exact same about decorating!!! It drives my husband crazy. When we moved into this place in May I was doing what you are doing and trying to find the perfect spot for things and it was taking for-freaking-ever meanwhile we couldn't even walk around because there were boxes and bags everywhere. Finally while I was away he just put everything somewhere and I must say it was really nice. Eventually everything made it to its right spot and it just felt more like a home without all the boxes. So maybe give that a try 😉

    This is a fabulous dress for summer- I love the bright colors. Have fun settling in! I think that's one of the hardest parts of moving. I like everything to have it's place as well and it takes me a while to figure that out.

    Great post!

    That dress looks super comfy! With just finishing my first year of grad school, I have also found that finding blogging balance is one of the hardest things to do!! Maybe one day I will figure it out.

    That dress is seriously so so cute! I can totally understand why your life has been a bit chaotic and scattered lately. Getting married and moving are both kind of (sort of) a big deal (;

    So I'm totally not a Jack Rogers girl, but I LOVE these sandals. They're so chic! I'm debating on whether to snag a pair since I know summer is almost over, but I know they're good quality so they'll take me to next season too. Also, obsessed with this dress!!

    Love this dress! And congratulations!!! I can so relate to you moving is stressful and when everything is a mess in your new place it can be blah!! But don't worry just take the entire process one day at a time and before you know everything will be in place.

    I feel like summer is just a strange time to blog, because my posts have been so inconsistent. I'm so ready to get back on a schedule though. Seriously loving everything about this outfit! That dress is adorable.
