Shopping Spring Finds

Truth time.

I had the BEST intentions of getting back to posting regularly, but January has been so tough guys! Not only is it freezing outside and so hard to take photos, It’s also hard to shoot during the work week. To top it off it gets dark SO early that there is rarely enough time to snap a few photos. The struggle is real! With how cold it’s been I’ve got spring on the brain. I’ve been dreaming of warm weather, more daylight and all the cute new spring styles. I’ve spent lots of time perusing the Shopbop site and adding all the spring essentials to my cart. Shopping for cute spring styles definitely makes the winter chill a little easier! Check out some of my favorite Shopbop spring finds below!

Confession…I have worn this dress 3 times in the last week! It is the ultimate summer midi dress and I can’t get enough of it! Coming from one of my favorite boutiques, Nell + Rose, this dress is meant for summer! From the breezy linen fabric to the neutral palette, it’s the perfect dress for all of your warm weather needs! I have worn this cutie to work (paired with a denim jacket), to church and out and about this past weekend. I love how versatile it is! Have a laid-back summer wedding coming up? Pair this cutie with some heeled sandals or wedges to dress it up. If you buy one thing this summer, let it be this dress…I am telling you, you won’t regret it!

Summer Blues

Free People Top // Ray Ban Sunnies // Steven Slides, more white slide options here // AGOLDE Shorts

Summer days are almost upon us and I am so ready! The count down to the end of the school year is on, and I can’t wait to spend my summer break in denim cutoffs and breezy tops! I love pairing a pretty top with my favorite shorts for a effortless look that’s perfect for a summer outing or dinner with the boo.

The moment I saw this sweet top, I knew it was perfect for the warmer months! It’s so light and airy and I am loving this pretty shade of blue! The detailing on it is even prettier in person. I love the bows and crochet touches. It does run big…I am wearing an XS. I love this summer blues combo!

Must Have Spring and Summer Dress

Dress // Denim Jacket, more denim jacket options here // Karen Walker Sunnies // Similar Bag, more options here // Espadrilles //

Happy Tuesday friends! 22 days until summer break, but who is counting…? I’m not going to lie, this year has been a busy one! The past few months I have put the blog on the back burner just focus on school. My kiddos have been wearing me out, and I come home exhausted each day. I haven’t been the best at balancing teaching and blogging this year, and need the summer to get organized and figure out a better system for getting things done! Any tips or tricks? Share them with me below!

Speaking of teaching, this outfit has been one of my go-to’s lately for the classroom and the weekend! This dress is AWESOME! So comfy and easy to wear, it transitions perfectly from a day at work to a dinner date with the hubby. I actually ended up ordering it in two colors because I knew I would get a ton of wear out of it! At only $55 it’s the PERFECT spring and summer shift dress! It comes in 8 color options and surprise, surprise, I am already eyeing a third!

One more thing I need to rave about is this denim jacket. I’ve been looking for a great oversized option for some time and am so glad I picked up this one! It is quite oversized, but I am really loving the fit! It looks great over dresses or paired with white denim and a tank and is a closet staple! A bit pricey, but oh so worth it as it’s a classic that you can wear again and again!
