Pom Sleeve Cardi

Pom Sleeve Cardigan (30% off with code SPRING30) // Thermal Button Front Top // Distressed Denim // Dolce Vita Boots // Bag, Similar Here // taudrey “Lucky Stars” Necklace

Just when I think it’s safe to put away my coats and scarves, the weather drops below 20 degrees and I’m back to chunky knits and LOTS of layers. I am SO ready for spring…warm weather where you at?!

Luckily, I’ve got some great chunky knits in my closet that makes dealing with frigid temps a bit more bearable. I have been living in this fun pom sleeve option all winter long.  It is SO warm and the pom sleeves add a fun touch that completes any basic tee and jeans combo! It’s currently on sale for 30% off with code SPRING30. Snag it now and wear it into spring!

It seems like everywhere I look, somebody is wearing one of these thermal button front tops, and it’s no wonder…they are SO good! I have a few of these in different colors (there are 12 colors to choose from). I feel like I’m constantly reaching for one because of how comfortable they are. I know this is a piece I will be pairing with shorts and sneakers in the spring and summer!

Polkadots and Overalls

Polka Dot Top // Overalls, more overall options here // Dolce Vita Booties // Karen Walker Sunglasses // Clare V Bag //

If I had to pick ONE piece of clothing in my wardrobe to name as my all time favorite, it would have to be these overalls. I traveled down a rabbit hole trying to figure out when I first featured them and found this post from 2014, when E, my then boyfriend-now husband, got them for me for my birthday. I have officially been rocking these cuties for 4 YEARS.

Over the years, I have styled these overalls so many ways (check out a few looks here). They have held up so well, withstanding many washes and wears and they still look brand new! This exact pair is still in stock and now come in a variety of colors and washes (this is the Brady wash). I actually just splurged on this pair, and love the lighter wash and even slimmer fit.

One of my favorite ways to wear overalls is with a ruffley top. I feel like the ruffles add a feminine touch and dress them up a bit. I actually wore this exact combo to work on Valentine’s Day! This top is perfect for work or the weekend and is the prettiest shade of blush!

Have you given overalls a chance? If so I would love to see how you styled them! Drop your blog links below!

Striped Tee ($17) // Fleece Hooded Cardigan // Distressed Denim // Suede Booties // Bag, Similar Here

Happy Valentine’s Day! Sending lots of love your way today! My plans for today include surviving the holiday with my first grade kiddos and then having a laid-back evening with E. We have dinner plans this weekend, so plan on ordering a heart shaped pizza from our favorite pizza joint and cuddling up on the couch to watch a movie. I don’t know about you, but holidays spent relaxing with my favorite person are always the best!

Yesterday I shared a Valentine’s date night look and today I am sharing a low-key V-day look for the chilly winter holiday!

The moment I saw this tee, I knew it would be the perfect tee for Valentine’s day! This cutie is under $20 and keeps things simple, but has a subtle statement. I love the sweet reminder hiding on the back! Want to keep this sweet note to yourself? Pair this $17 tee with a cozy cardigan!

I can’t tell you how soft this cardi option is. It’s unbelievably cozy and perfect for chilly winter days. I’ve been living in this piece, wearing it out and while lounging around the house! It comes in a variety of colors and is just $28!

Happy February first! I can’t believe January is over!! We have officially made it through the first month of the year. You know what that means…it’s time for another monthly top sellers! These are the top 10 sellers from Twenties Girl Style for the month of January. Lots of cozy pieces, layering staples and closet essentials that you will see repeated throughout the list! Check out what everyone’s been loving this month!

10. V-Neck Long Sleeve Sweater

This sweater is lightweight and will be perfect for taking into spring! I’ve been dressing this up for work, tucked into pants and taking it into the weekend with my favorite skinny jeans and a chunky knit scarf. It’s only $39 and comes in two neutral colors!

9. Twist Hem Tee

This flattering long sleeve tee has the best twist front detailing! It’s perfect for layering under cardigans or vests. I have this one in a few colors (it comes in 4) and might snag a few more now that it’s on sale for $18!

8. Barris Block Heel Booties

Hands down my FAVORITE booties. They go with everything and are so comfortable that I can wear them for a full day of teaching without any issues. I love the side cutout and the heel height is perfect for everyday wear. They come in 3 colors and are just $90.

7. Faux Leather Leggings

I had read so many rave reviews about these faux leather leggings that I finally snagged a pair earlier this month and I am SO glad that I did. These leggings are worth every penny. They can easily be dressed up or down and the fit is AMAZING!

6. Lance Block Heel Booties

Every girl needs a great pair of leather booties in her wardrobe and these are a steal at under $100. I love the angled top and the stacked heel and the fact that they are so easy to style!

5. High Rise Busted Knee Skinny Jeans

The BEST denim! I love the distressing on these and wear them ALL the time! They now come in a bunch of different washes and I need to snag a few more pairs!  For sizing reference, I am normally a 24 or 25 in denim and had to size up to a 26 in these! They do run small!

4. Side Slit Tee

This tee has been a top seller for the past few months and it’s no wonder! This tee is PERFECT for layering. It comes in 6 colors and I own 4, and plan on doubling up in a few colors because of how frequently I wear them. The length is just right for wearing with leggings, but I also love knotting it up, which the longer length makes easy to do! Do yourself a favor and buy one or two of these…I promise you will love it! See three ways I styled it here.

3. Wubby Fleece Pullover

I have been living in this cozy pullover this winter! This might possibly be the softest thing I’ve ever worn! It’s so cozy and is all I’ve wanted to wear in these chilly January temps! I even included it in my cozy staples to get you through the rest of winter post!

2. Fuzzy Hooded Cardigan

Who doesn’t love a fuzzy cardi? Especially when it has a hood and pockets! Throw this on over a long sleeve tee for an extra layer of warmth when you are on the go, on put it on to snuggle up around the house. This cardi is thick and cozy and one of my favorites!

1. Striped Peplum Tee

The top seller of January is this perfect little peplum tee. I snagged one of these last spring and wore it all spring and summer long. I was so happy to see they brought it back this winter and in 5 colors! This long sleeve tee is currently on sale for $20 and I can’t recommend it enough! Layer it up now and transition it into spring. It looks so cute with shorts!
