Or should I say Happy Halloween! Monday is a lot sweeter when it lands on such a fun holiday! My plans for tonight include curling up under a blanket, watching a spooky movie and probably eating half of the candy meant for trick or treaters. I might even pull out my kitty cat or Minnie mouse ears because Halloween is the perfect excuse to dress up. 

This rust colored shift dress would be the perfect piece to dress up for tonight. I can already envision how cute this ensemble would be with kitty ears! The perfect Halloween outfit for someone who wants to get in to the spirit on a low-key level. The moment I saw this dress, it went into my cart. I have been loving the feminine twist on menswear this fall, and this little tie front dress stole my heart! From the flirty floral print to the ruffle sleeves, this is a dress to wear all year long. The lace bow tie adds such a fun touch, and I love that it is the perfect length for me to take from work to a dinner date! 

Another piece I have been wearing a ton is this fab suede jacket! It now comes in 3 colors and is a fall staple! It is the perfect weight for wearing now, but will layer nicely when it gets colder!

One of the trends I am loving most this fall is suede. From dresses to skirts to bags, you can find suede everywhere. One of my favorite ways to bring this trend in is with a jacket. When I saw this jacket as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July, I purchased it immediately. Be ready to see a ton of it in the next few months…it goes with everything and I love how it can complete just about any look! It definitely spices up this jeans and sleeveless sweater combo.

Summer is the only time I actually wouldn’t mind just skipping over Friday and the weekend because it means I am one more week closer to my summer being over! Don’t get me wrong, I am so excited to start a new school year, but it’s definitely hard to say goodbye to the freedom and the warm weather that comes with summer! 

Every girl needs a little white dress in her wardrobe! I’ve said this too many times, but there is nothing better than throwing on a cute LWD for a summer date night or girl’s night out!
