Floral Shift Dress

Dress: Antique Garden ‘Blue and Floral’ Shift Dress c/o // Shoes: Dolce Vita ‘Nessah’ // Earrings: Bauble Bar ‘Acid Fringe Drops’ in coral // Bracelets: Bauble Bar ‘Reef’ set // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Sunnies: Ray-ban//

Anybody remember that feeling of finding your first day of school outfit? Back to school shopping was always my favorite time of year, and I got practically giddy as I laid out what I would be wearing that very first day back, even if it was a few weeks…or a month in advance. Being a teacher, I still get to have a “first day of school” outfit and I’m not going to lie, I LOVE it. When I tried on this Antique Garden shift dress, I had that same feeling I used to get when I was younger…this is the one! It may be a month and a half in advance, but I will definitely be wearing this sweet printed shift when the first bell of the year rings in September!

Please tell me I’m not the only one who picks/picked out first day of school outfits so far in advance!

Exciting news!

Today the Nordstrom Anniversary sale OFFICIALLY begins!

I will be having my favorite sale picks all week, but you can start shopping some of them now below!

Happy shopping!

Creamsicle Dream

Dress: Topshop ‘Tile Print Sundress’ via Nordstroms // Necklace: Kendra Scott//

Clutch: Love Moschino via Asos //

Shoes: Dolce Vita // Ring: Kendra Scott // Sunnies: Ray-Ban //

Looking for an effortless sundress to wear this summer? This little orange number is a dream! I have worn this sweet dress too many times to count! The fabric is perfect for hot summer days and nights as it is so lightweight! I am also in love with the fun print and bright color that reminds me of a creamsicle.   It runs slightly large (I am wearing a small and could have gone smaller), so pairing it with a bralette is another way to style it that looks adorable! This is a dress you will be wearing all summer long!

This weeks link-up of the week from LAST week’s #WIWT is Ashley of Le Stylo Rogue! Ashley is the picture of boho perfection in her sweet printed blouse. I absolutely adore that she paired this fun top with denim cut offs and gold jewelry for a more laid back look. I definitely want to copy this look ASAP! Thanks for the inspo, Ashley!

Printed Maxi Dress

Dress: Florence Maxi c/o Antique Garden // Necklaces: Bauble Bar ‘Feather Y-Chain’ and Taudrey ‘Mini Coin Pineapple Necklace‘ c/o // Hat: Target // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini Mac’ // Shoes: Dolce Vita // Bracelet: Forever 21//

If you haven’t already discovered, I wear A LOT of dresses in the summer. Off the shoulder, mini, asymmetrical, you name it I’ll wear it. As of late, I’ve noticed that I’ve been drawn to maxi dresses. There is something about being able to throw on a flowy dress and head out the door that screams summer. I love layers as much as the next girl, but being able to wear one piece of clothing when it is 100 and over is extremely satisfying! I wore this dress on the morning of the 4th for running errands. The fun pattern and red, white and blue color scheme was perfect for festivities and allowed me to pair it with minimal jewelry.

Printed maxi dresses are literally the ultimate summer wardrobe! Check out all of these fantastic printed maxi options here and you are sure to find one to add to your closet!

Embroidered Off the Shoulder Dress

Dress: c/o Chicwish (comes in three colors!) // Sandals: Dolce Vita // Bag: Sole Society// Sunnies: Ray-ban ‘Erika’ // Hat: Target // Necklace: Bauble Bar

This dress has quickly become one of my go to’s! With the ridiculously hot weather we’ve been having, I’ve been opting for light-weight, airy pieces. This dress is the perfect summer dress as it meets all of those requirements! I am in love with the off the shoulder trend and how easy to wear this dress is! The embroidery is adorable, but what really sold me was the light-weight cotton that makes this dress the ultimate 100 degree day dress! This dress currently comes in 3 colors, and I am definitely thinking purchasing one in each would be an investment!
