Anybody else experiencing some weird weather lately? I literally can’t keep up with what to wear! The mornings are always chilly, but the weather fluctuates from day to day with low 50’s to high 70’s. Last weekend, we had one 80 degree day, and it was the perfect opportunity to wear this printed maxi dress. This maxi is the perfected little printed number to wear in the fall and winter. I’ve already styled it for work with booties and a chunky cardigan, and the best part? It’s under $20!
I hope you are all enjoying your 3 day weekend! I know I am. It has been a nice little 3 day break after 3 days on at school. I love starting a new school year this way because after those first few days, I am so tired!
Last week, before school started, E and I went on a dinner date to celebrate 1 month of marriage and the start of the new school year. This dress was the perfect celebratory outfit! I am in love with the asymmetrical hemline and bright floral print! It’s currently a steal of a deal too, at under $20!!
This summer, I have added quite a few little shift dresses to my wardrobe! There is something so easy about these dresses, as they are effortless and a breezy way to beat the heat! I have really been looking for ones with longer hemlines so I can wear them the first few weeks back to school. I am definitely planning on repeating this outfit (minus the hat) when I meet my new first graders! This option from Antique Garden has the cutest print and cutouts in the front and the back. I have been obsessed with Antique Garden lately! They currently have the cutest pieces for fall that really have me excited for chillier weather!
This week’s blogger of the week from last week’s link up is Onyinye of Modavracha! I am in love with this babe’s full skirt and how she paired it with a white tee to really show off the fabulous print! Not to mention, how chic are those sunnies and side-braid?? You look absolutely stunning, girl!
