Monday…we meet again.

E and I had a pretty relaxed weekend. After a busy week, there is nothing I like better than chilling at home in comfy clothes and catching up on my favorite shows!

If you follow me on instagram (@twentiesgirlstyle), you have seen this sweater one too many times. I love it so much, that I couldn’t resist picking it up in a second color! This is such a great sweater for spring! It’s light-weight, comfortable and easy to layer. It is perfectly slouchy, but I sized up for length. I usually wear an XS in this brand, but didn’t want it to be too short, so got it in a small. I have worn this thing SO many times. The great thing about this sweater is that it can be easily worn year round. Layer it with tanks, tees or sweaters for the colder months and pair it with denim cutoffs in the summer!

Spring Dresses with Nordstrom

Mustard Embroidered Dress

Embroidered Dress // Espadrille Wedges // Ray-Ban Sunnies // Crossbody Bag

I am a warm weather girl all of the way, and find it so much easier to get dressed from April-August then any other time of year. I’ll take dresses and sandals over scarves and coats any day of the week!

This time of year, I start to stock my closet with sweet dresses that are easy to wear. Adding a few spring dresses is the perfect way to refresh your wardrobe for spring.

My go to for shopping new spring dresses is Nordstrom. They have a wide variety of brands I love at varying price points and the quality can’t be beat! Living 3+ hours away from the nearest Nordstrom, I order online A LOT and have called customer service manyyy times. I am always impressed with their knowledge and how helpful they truly are!

Whether looking for an easy to wear dress for the weekend or one to wear to a spring wedding, Nordstrom has the best selection of spring dresses for any occasion…and with daily new arrivals, it’s not hard to find one (or two) to love either! The moment I saw this pretty embroidered option, I knew it would be perfect for work and the weekend. I wore it to explore a nearby town with my mom and sisters this past weekend, (note – This dress was steamed before I left, but a ride in the car left it so wrinkled)! I’m currently eyeing this ombre maxi for an upcoming beach trip and this under $50 cutie for Easter. Shop my exact look below and some of my favorite spring dress picks at the bottom of the post!

It’s March!!

The month that spring OFFICIALLY arrives! But just because spring is in the near future, doesn’t mean the weather automatically knows this. It’s still cold here with snow in the forecast later this week (fingers crossed it doesn’t actually happen…no more snow!). We are in that weird in-between transition phase where the weather changes day to day. I don’t know if I can start to break out my open toe booties and wedges or whether to lace up my snow boots yet again.

Over the knee boots are my go to this time of year! They are the perfect boots to pair with jeans and a lighter weight sweater or a mini dress! This cognac pair have been on repeat lately! The color goes with EVERYTHING and they are amazing quality for their $100 price tag! I paired them with this sweater for an easy weekend look. I am obsessing over this cute sweater and already order it in another color! It’s the perfect piece to wear now and take in to spring and summer. I can’t wait to pair it with shorts and a swimsuit in the summer!

Guys…it’s snowing.

I enjoy snow best when I am snuggled up with a blanket, sipping hot chocolate and watching a Christmas movie.

Although I have to tell you, when my first grade kiddos discovered it was snowing yesterday, it kind of melted my heart. We were lining up for lunch, and one student happened to glance out the window. “IT’S SNOWING,” she screamed and I watched 21 first graders flock to the windows. They seemed to lose their minds for about 30 seconds as a few ran around screaming while others jumped up and down. I had to smile. Oh the joys of snow when you are 7 years old. “Okay…okay,” I laughed as I tried to get them to calm down. Finally I told them we would celebrate by doing a snow dance. “Dance like a snowflake! But snowflakes don’t talk, so shhhhh!” They took this very seriously and it was SO cute. Do you remember the joy you felt when you were little on the first snow fall of the season?

PS this sweater is perfect for snuggling up and watching the snow fall and it’s currently on sale! It comes in 5 colors and is perfectly oversized (I’m wearing an XS) and ridiculously cozy!
