Fall Essentials

It’s that time of year again! Fall leaves, scarves, boots and pumpkin spice lattes! I am sad to see summer go, but am ready to embrace all things fall. Unfortunately, it’s still been pretty hot here (this weekend it reached 100), so you might see a few more summer outfits around these parts until it cools down. In the meantime, see what’s included in my top 5 fall essentials below! It’s not fall without a good pair of booties and a plaid scarf, but I am really craving a good fringe bag! Checkout a few of my favorite fringe bag options here!

Hello friends!

I am so sorry for the inconsistent blogging lately! Honestly, it has been hard getting back into the swing of things after the wedding and honeymoon! I’ve currently been spending my days settling in to our new place, which has turned in to a gigantic disaster zone. I am such a perfectionist when it comes to setting things up and I like things in their forever home the first time I put them away. This makes for quite the mess as things are literally scattered everywhere while I decided and spend time considering where their perfect forever home should be. Give me a week and I will hopefully have everything in order! Anybody else like this?

On top of all of this, I head back to work soon, which will cause blogging inconsistency again as I settle in to a new school year. I will be spending some time working out a new blogging schedule that works well alongside work AND being a newlywed. That’s right…got to make some time for hubby too:)

This outfit has been one of my go to’s lately! I love that I can throw this little printed dress on and automatically look put together! I have been wearing my hat almost every day as well, as I find it is the perfect cover for not wearing makeup or doing my hair. Thank goodness for hat days!

Orange + White

Top: Stem ‘Flowy Light-weight V-Neck Tank’ (wearing a size XS) // Skirt: Topshop via Nordstrom ‘Scallop Hem Mini Skirt’ (under $50!) // Necklace: Bauble Bar // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (on sale!) // Shoes: Dolce Vita ‘Deklon’ // Sunnies: Ray-ban ‘Erika‘ // Ring: Kendra Scott //

If you follow me on instagram (here) you have probably seen this outfit pop up one too many times. This combo has been one of my go to’s this summer as there is something so fresh about orange and white! This skirt was one of my best purchases this summer as I have worn it too many times to count. The sweet scallops make it perfect for summer and the fact that it goes with just about anything makes it a closet staple. Pairing it with orange and turquoise was an absolute no brainer as this color combo screams bohemian summertime!

This week’s blogger of the week from last week’s link-up is Katey of Two Peas in a Blog! I love Katey’s fresh summer look, pairing neon with white! I also appreciates that she gives some helpful tips for wearing neon colors…something I always need a hand with! Fun fact? Two Peas in a Blog is actually run by two identical twin sisters…Katey and Betsy (hence the name)! I can’t wait to see more by these two gorgeous sisters!

Floral Romper + Wedding Week: Dressed in White

Romper: Anjouil’s Boutique c/o // Shoes: Dolce Vita // Hat: Target // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (on sale) // Bracelet: Forever 21 // Ring: Kendra Scott // Necklace: Bauble Bar //

There is nothing better than a little floral romper! This particular number comes from Anjouil’s Boutique, and it might just be the cutest romper ever. I am obsessed with the layered top, which makes this romper look like it is a two piece set. It’s comfortable and cute and I could wear it just about anywhere! It has been my go to throw on piece for wedding errands lately as it is easy to put on and style but still adorable! This is my first piece from Anjouil’s, but I already know it won’t be my last! They have SO many cute pieces! I find myself wanting literally everything on the site…you know you are in trouble when that happens!

I think one of the best parts about being a bride is having the excuse to wear white literally all the time! I have a good stash of white dresses in my closet (see a few below), but I have definitely spent hours scouring the internet for the perfect white dresses and white separates to add to my closet for any necessary bride to be outings and occasions! I have rounded up some of my favorite styles and pieces ( a few of which I own…or wish I owned!) for you, whether you are looking for something to wear to a rehearsal dinner or shower or just something white to wear on any day so people know you’re a bride! Just click the picture below of the item you love to shop it!

 Exposed Shoulder

Anybody else obsessing over the cold shoulder or off the shoulder trend? It’s been one of my favorite trends to wear this summer, so of course it would extend to my little white dress collection!

  Detailed

Whether you are going for lace, crochet or cut outs, sometimes a little white dress with details is all you need to make a statement!

  Printed

A printed white dress can be a fun option. Stripes, florals, polka dots…so many choices!
