Printed Mini

Dress: c/o Shein // Bag: Sole Society (old) – love these fringe bag options here // Hat: Roxy (old) – more floppy hat options here // Booties: BP ‘Trolley’ boots in cognac // Necklace: Bauble Bar ‘Arrowhead Pendant’ c/o //

What do you do when it’s fall and still 80 degrees?? You wear something light and breezy in fall shades of course! Just when I thought the weather was cooling down, it heats up again to the 80’s. It makes wearing fall clothing some what impossible, as layering scarfs and sweaters only makes for a sweltering day. However, the forecast is calling for dropping temps in the next few days, so maybe fall weather really is just around the corner!
You know I’m a true summer girl, so I really don’t mind the warm days! This little dress was the perfect  transition dress as it has a fun print with a good mix of cool and warm colors! I paired it with a maroon floppy hat and my all time favorite booties. I swear I wear these booties more than any other shoe in my closet! They recently just re-stocked them, so I definitely recommend getting a pair!

She looks so chic in in printed blouse and grey mules (can I add these to my wardrobe ASAP?!). This is an outfit I will be repeating ASAP! Such a wonderful fall look, Mae!

TGI(ALMOST)F!

Although this has been a short week, it has felt much longer. I’m getting back into the swing of things at work, but forget how tired I am after a long day with a room full of first graders! I’m definitely ready for my weekend already!

Today I am introducing you to E and I’s newest family member…Stella! We’ve been wanting a dog for a while, but wanted to wait until we settled in to marriage before starting to look. You know what they say though, things always fall into your lap when you are least expecting it! Stella has quickly become our little baby. She is around 4 months old and a mutt (a little mix of a bunch breeds). She is just about the sweetest thing, but as a puppy, she definitely has her naughty side! She makes up for it though with her sweet cuddles at night…her favorite place to sleep is at the tops of our pillows!

If you follow me on instagram (@twentiesgirlstyle), you know I wore it a ton on my honeymoon in Canada! These booties from Emu Australia are my latest obsession. They are the perfect shoes to take in to fall as they are open toed, but have a soft faux suede that is perfect for transitioning seasons!

Little Printed Shift Dress featuring Antique Garden

Dress: Antique Garden ‘Venice Dress’  c/o // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mab Mini’ // Shoes: Dolce Vita // Earrings: Kendra Scott ‘Alex Earrings’ // Ring: Kendra Scott’ Aussie’ // Hat: Target // Bracelet: Forever 21 //

This summer, I have added quite a few little shift dresses to my wardrobe! There is something so easy about these dresses, as they are effortless and a breezy way to beat the heat! I have really been looking for ones with longer hemlines so I can wear them the first few weeks back to school. I am definitely planning on repeating this outfit (minus the hat) when I meet my new first graders!
This option from Antique Garden has the cutest print and cutouts in the front and the back. I have been obsessed with Antique Garden lately! They currently have the cutest pieces for fall that really have me excited for chillier weather!

This week’s blogger of the week from last week’s link up is Onyinye of Modavracha! I am in love with this babe’s full skirt and how she paired it with a white tee to really show off the fabulous print! Not to mention, how chic are those sunnies and side-braid?? You look absolutely stunning, girl!
