Is it just me, or do the weekends go by too fast?? 

I feel like I’m just starting to relax and it’s already time to start a new work week! 

This weekend it was pretty warm. The weather is cooler, but still not cool enough to pull out my scarves and boots. Looking at the forecast for next week though and the weather is going to start to get considerably colder. Just in time for the first official day of fall this Thursday! 

This striped cutie was the perfect top to bring out this weekend. I am in love with the off the shoulder and ruffle detailing. The best part though? It’s under $20! I paired it with distressed denim and it was the perfect laid-back look for Saturday!

I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! I’m coming off my three days of R&R relaxed and ready to start this 4 day week! 

Even though it’s not the OFFICIAL end of summer (September 22nd), Labor Day always feels like the end. It’s the last summer hurrah before the weather really starts to turn and the leaves begin to fall. Therefore, I took this opportunity to really go out in style and wear my summer best!

Denim Skirt and an Off the Shoulder Top

Today I am wearing a denim mini skirt and I love it. 

I haven’t owned one since my middle school days when my Hollister and Abercrombie skirts were some of my most loved clothing. 

I’ve been wanting to add a new denim mini to my wardrobe, and when I saw the buttons and light wash of this option, I immediately ordered it and I’ve been wearing it all summer long! One of my favorite ways to wear it is with an off the shoulder top, but is that any surprise? This adorable printed top can be worn two ways! It has straps that make it the perfect cold shoulder top, but tucking the straps in converts this cutie into a off the shoulder dream!

I am OBSESSED with this fun dress. One shoulder, tassels and embroidery makes for a fun summer mini perfect for date night. It also would make for the perfect vacation dress…definitely packing this the next time I go somewhere tropical! The only issue I have with this dress is how easily it wrinkles! These wrinkles occurred after a short drive before dinner. Is that going to stop me from wearing it in the future? No way! Nothing a good steam couldn’t fix!
