This week it’s finally been chilly enough to pull out my warm coats! While this is somewhat exciting, I am not enjoying the weather that quickly went from cool to freezing. Today I had morning supervision at school and wore a sweater, scarf, vest, heavy jacket and gloves. Just another reminder that the weather will soon be this way every day and leaving the house will require layers upon layers!

This jacket from Coffee Shop is one of my new favorites! Warm and trendy? Yes please! I am obsessed with the black and white checked print and love that it is big enough to layer under. This will definitely come in handy as the weather continues to drop! I paired it with the sweetest layered top and green skinnies. This top is one size fits all, but fits more like a small. I definitely recommend picking this one up as the quality is awesome for the price point (just $30!).

Suede + Shearling

Top: American Eaglesimilar // Jacket: c/o Shein (wearing a medium) // Jeans: Old – Similar options here // Clutch: Clare V. // Boots: Franco Sarto ‘Linden’ (currently on sale!) // Necklace: Taudrey – Coming Soon!! // Sunnies: illesteva c/o Ditto //

One of my favorite types of fall outfits is a pair of jeans, a basic top and a warm, but cute jacket. This simplistic look is easy to dress up or down, just depending on accessories. I wore this outfit on a date day with E. I wanted something easy to take me through the entire day, as I was not sure all that we would accomplish! During the day, I opted for the jeans and tee, but as the weather cooled, I added this cozy jacket. I am in love with suede and shearling this fall and this jacket is the perfect combination of both!

This week’s blogger of the week from last week’s link up is Irene of The Daily Lace. Irene’s take on fall knits is perfectly cozy and feminine! I love her sweet sweater and fun floppy hat. Such a perfect fall outfit!

Printed Maxi

Dress: c/o Shein // Necklace: Bauble Bar ‘Mini Leather Tassel Strand’ in Nude // Shoes: Dolce Vita ‘Deklon’ Sandals // Bag: Old – more fringe bag options here // Hat: Nordstroms //

Anybody else experiencing some weird weather lately? I literally can’t keep up with what to wear! The mornings are always chilly, but the weather fluctuates from day to day with low 50’s to high 70’s. Last weekend, we had one 80 degree day, and it was the perfect opportunity to wear this printed maxi dress.  This maxi is the perfected little printed number to wear in the fall and winter. I’ve already styled it for work with booties and a chunky cardigan, and the best part? It’s under $20!

White Crochet Dress

Dress: Shein c/o // Boots: Sam Edelman ‘Paige’ in Putty // Hat: Wool Floppy Hat (under $25!) // Bag: Tory Burch ‘Perry’ Tote //

 Hello white after labor day!

Anybody else all for breaking that silly rule??

I am a strong believer that white should be worn year round. There really is nothing better than a crisp white dress whether summer or fall! This option is perfectly boho and I immediately became obsessed with the crochet detailing and wide sleeves. I can definitely see myself wearing this with OTK boots when it get’s cooler, and with wedges in the summertime!
