Summer Lippies

Today’s post is in collaboration with Nordstrom, but all opinions are my own! Thank you for supporting the brands that support Twenties Girl Style!

Free People Dress // Treasure and Bond Wedges // Sole Society Bag // Karl Lagerfeld and Model and Co. Beauty Light Up Lipstick in the color Merengue

When it comes to makeup, I’m a pretty simple girl. I like an every day face, topped with a little glow and a neutral lip. However, as simple as I am, I do love my makeup products and am always looking for the latest and greatest! I especially love show stopping products that are easy to apply but make me feel like a million bucks!

I was so excited to discover the Karl Lagerfeld and Model and Co. Beauty collaboration exclusively at Nordstrom. Nordstrom is always my go to for all things fashion and beauty and I have been loving all of the collaborations they have been showcasing lately! The Karl Lagerfeld and Model and Co. Beauty collab is no exception. This high-quality line is full of  trend-setting, luxe products, but at price points that are still attainable for the everyday girl. Hello…that’s me!

I’ve been looking for a few new summer lip colors, and was immediately drawn to the light up lippies from the new collection. These limited edition products really impressed me and I have officially found my summer lips! My favorite? The Light Up Lipstick. This lipstick is super comfortable, goes on smoothly, dries matte and STAYS PUT. I’ve been loving the soft neutral with a pop Merengue color and have been so impressed with how long lasting it is. This is the perfect lippie to put on while enjoying a summer bbq or drinks with friends. The best part though? When you unscrew the cap, you are in for a surprise as this lipstick features a built in LED light and a mirror, making application easy-peasy. If you are more of a lipgloss kind of gal (who doesn’t love a good gloss?), the Lip Lights Lip Gloss is high-shine and comes in 8 gorgeous colors.

Be sure to check out the Karl Lagerfeld and Model and Co. Beauty collaboration at Nordstrom before these items sell out! This is one collab you don’t want to miss!!

Summer Blues

Free People Top // Ray Ban Sunnies // Steven Slides, more white slide options here // AGOLDE Shorts

Summer days are almost upon us and I am so ready! The count down to the end of the school year is on, and I can’t wait to spend my summer break in denim cutoffs and breezy tops! I love pairing a pretty top with my favorite shorts for a effortless look that’s perfect for a summer outing or dinner with the boo.

The moment I saw this sweet top, I knew it was perfect for the warmer months! It’s so light and airy and I am loving this pretty shade of blue! The detailing on it is even prettier in person. I love the bows and crochet touches. It does run big…I am wearing an XS. I love this summer blues combo!

Classroom Style: The Perfect Back to School Dress

Floral Dress // Mules // Similar Tote

Today is the first day of school! I can’t believe this is my 4th year of teaching 1st grade! I also can’t believe that summer vacation is officially over…where does the time go?

My goal for this year is to share more of my work looks with you. My plan is to share at least 1 look every two weeks under the title Classroom Style.

Today’s look is my first day of school outfit. One thing I love about teaching is that I get to go back to school shopping every year. Growing up I looked forward to BTS shopping everyyyy year. I loved picking out my first day of school outfit and surprise, surprise, still do! I love stocking up on easy dresses for this time of year, when it’s still too hot to wear pants. The moment I saw this one, I knew it would be the perfect 1st day dress. I love the floral print, flowy sleeves and ruffle hem!

I bought these mules during the Nordstrom Sale after I wore my first pair to work all spring! These are the BEST shoes for the classroom as they are so comfortable and go with everything! I’m still undecided if I will wear these today or opt for a pair of espadrille sandals…there isn’t much time left to wear sandals!

Striped Eyelet Trim Top & a Giveaway!

Top c/o // Similar Shorts Here and Here // Rebecca Minkoff Bag // Karen Walker Sunnies // Pearl Slide Sandals – $25 Dupes

School starts WEDNESDAY and while I am ready to get back to a routine and my new class of kiddos, I will definitely miss summer! From lazy summer mornings, enjoying my coffee and reading a good book to wearing my favorite easy summer attire, it’s definitely hard letting this summer season end!

Lately I’ve been shopping for pieces that I can wear now and transition for fall and heading back to work. I have been LOVING this top. The stripes and eyelet detailing make for the cutest combo! I’ve been wearing it with shorts, but plan on wearing it with white and olive denim once school starts.
