 Would you believe me if I told you this outfit was 50 UPF (ultraviolet protection factor)? Meaning I can wear this outfit out to the beach and look absolutely chic while protecting my skin from those harmful UV rays. It’s the truth! Despite how adorable this outfit is, it’s made with special ultraviolet protection that helps protect from the sun. Mott 50 is a fairly new company that offers “fashion-forward sun protective clothing in soft, lightweight fabrics.” After wearing this dress for the past few weeks (yes, it has been on major repeat), I have become a huge Mott 50 fan! Not only is this dress comfortable, but it also has a flattering fit and can easily be transitioned into the fall with boots! I love knowing that I can wear this out in the heat of the day and my skin is also being protected from those harsh summertime rays! I’m not saying this is a good alternative to sunscreening, but rather an extra layer of protection!

One of my absolute favorite things about this dress, is it is so on trend with the stripe pattern! I am loving all striped dresses lately, from t-shirt to maxi dresses! Shop some adorable striped options here.

Anybody remember that feeling of finding your first day of school outfit? Back to school shopping was always my favorite time of year, and I got practically giddy as I laid out what I would be wearing that very first day back, even if it was a few weeks…or a month in advance. Being a teacher, I still get to have a “first day of school” outfit and I’m not going to lie, I LOVE it. When I tried on this Antique Garden shift dress, I had that same feeling I used to get when I was younger…this is the one! It may be a month and a half in advance, but I will definitely be wearing this sweet printed shift when the first bell of the year rings in September! 

Please tell me I’m not the only one who picks/picked out first day of school outfits so far in advance!

Okay! I probably know what you are thinking…another off the shoulder dress?! Guys, I am obsessed. I just can’t say no to a good off the shoulder dress, or top for that matter. And when it has ruffles?! It’s a must! This is my favorite trend this summer and I hope it’s one that stays around for a while!

You may remember seeing this outfit here. I wore this exact combo fairly recently, but who isn’t guilty of re-wearing their favorite outfits? I may have mentioned my love for this Antique Garden Boutique top on the last post, but I have fallen in love with it even more since! It’s seriously the perfect top for any occasion, and perfect for summer as it is so light and airy. Plus, it comes in 3 fabulous colors and is only $24! It’s a no brainer to pair it with my favorite scalloped skirt. Be prepared to see this little number often…I’ve had it on major repeat lately! For my repeat wear this time, I traded out my 4th of July accessories and incorporated some heeled sandals and a fun tassel pouch. Instant date night attire!
