With spring break on the horizon, I’m craving bright colors and bold prints. Take me to the beach, please! I am drawn to tassels and pom poms in vibrant colors and embellished accessories for day or night. Something else I am loving? One piece swimwear! Anybody else experiencing some weird weather lately? I literally can’t keep up with what to wear! The mornings are always chilly, but the weather fluctuates from day to day with low 50’s to high 70’s. Last weekend, we had one 80 degree day, and it was the perfect opportunity to wear this printed maxi dress. This maxi is the perfected little printed number to wear in the fall and winter. I’ve already styled it for work with booties and a chunky cardigan, and the best part? It’s under $20!

My obsession with this iboteak dress is slightly out of control. I have turned it into a ‘wear for every occasion’ type piece and have repurposed it as a dress, top, swimsuit coverup…you name it! You know when you find a piece of clothing that’s almost too good to be true and you want to literally wear it ALL of the time?! That is this dress! It has the perfect flowy fit, gauzy lightweight fabric, embroidered detailing and to top it off…tassels! I can’t wait to wear this in the fall with black leggings and OTK boots! Eek! I am almost wishing it was cool enough to wear it like that now!
A few weekends ago, my sweet bridesmaids threw me the cutest bridal shower, themed after one of my favorite songs, Pineapple Princess. We didn’t get many photos, but I had to share the few we did as the theme was adorable. We had an enormous spread of brunch foods (bagels, pastries, fruit…) and enjoyed mimosas and infused water. The crafty girls that they are, they got there craft on with some adorable tassel pieces that I am also planning on hanging at the wedding for photo ops!
