How to Wear Overalls: Casual Meets Chic + #WIWT

Overalls: Free People // Top: Old Navy (on sale for $10!) // Sweater: c/o Joyworks //

Shoes: Nordstrom BP ‘Trolley’ // Necklace: c/o Taudrey // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Sunnies: Ray-Ban //

I have been obsessed with overalls for a few years now. I got these a couple years ago for my birthday and they have become a staple in my wardrobe. I often have people tell me they struggle with styling them, but I truly think they are one of the easiest pieces to style…just think of them as a unique pair of jeans!

Starting today, every Thursday this March, I will be sharing a different way I style overalls.

Today’s look is a casual way I would style them for running errands or for a Friday at work! Pairing them with a nicer tee and a sweater is an easy way that is laid-back but not too casual. I dress it up a bit more by cuffing the legs and adding a pair of heeled booties. Swapping out the shoes for a pair of sneakers would give this outfit a totally different vibe!

If you haven’t noticed lately, I am completely, over the top obsessed with blush. It’s been making it’s way in to just about every outfit I wear lately and is the first color I am drawn to when online shopping. Anybody else experiencing this?? Blush is EVERYWHERE and I love it!

When I re-discovered this faux leather jacket in my closet this past week, I obviously couldn’t contain my excitement. It’s blush….so duh. Now I can’t stop wearing it, and am so excited to style it with a little white dress this Spring! I paired it with jeans and flats for the weekend and then re-styled it for work by swapping for leggings and tall boots.

Another thing I am loving? Bucket bags! This option from Luana Italy has been on repeat lately! It’s the perfect bag to transition from Winter to Spring and I love the size! There are so many fabulous bucket bag options here…it’s a style that I definitely recommend if you are in the market for a new handbag!

Striped Peplum + Pink Hunters

Top: ASOS (only a few sizes left, but re-stocks frequently!) // Pants: Nordstrom //

Necklace: ‘Rose Infinity’ Necklace c/o Taudrey // Boots: Hunter (rhodonite pink) //

Bag: Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mini MAB’ //

Spring is in the air!!

This weekend it warmed up to a balmy 52 degrees. Yes, that doesn’t sound very warm, but compared to the 20-30 degree weather we have been experiencing the last few months, it felt incredible! We had a few rain showers here and there, so I threw on my trusty Hunters with white denim and a striped peplum top.

I saw this top on one of my besties, Lauren of The Fashionista’s Diary, and KNEW I had to have it!! I kept checking the site on a daily basis and ended up ordering it in a size 8. It’s a tad big, but I love the oversized fit! It’s currently only in stock in a size 10, but keep checking back as it restocks frequently!

It’s almost Valentine’s day and I have been feeling the love all week! I’ve been pulling out some of my sweetest pieces, in reds and pinks, and styling them for anything from work to date night!

I wore this sweater and tee combo for my birthday date night with my husband. I re-styled it with white skinnies, lace up flats and a gorgeous white bucket bag for a surprisingly warm Saturday.

This bucket bag is divine. It’s the perfect addition to my closet and will take me from winter to summer! The gold detailing on the side really adds the perfect touch, and it is such a great size…big enough to fit everything I need without being TOO big.
