School Days: Navy + Olive

Sweater: c/o Shein // Dress: Old, identical here // Necklace: c/o Taudrey // Boots: Old, similar here // Bag: Tory Burch ‘Perry‘ //

Monday is here again….

Does anybody else feel like the weekend passes way top quickly?? And speaking of things passing quickly, can you believe that it’s already November??! I’m blown away that we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in a few short weeks!

Today I am sharing one of my favorite work looks. I have worn this dress countless times and love how versatile it is! I wore it frequently this summer with wedges or converse, but it has transitioned so perfectly for fall with the addition of a chunky sweater and riding boots. For a chillier fall day, I might even throw on a pair of leggings or tights and a scarf.

My favorite part of this outfit?? This gorgeous Taudrey necklace! I got to design this piece with the Taudrey squad and could not be more pleased with how they turned my vision into reality! I have been wearing this necklace non-stop as it is the perfect layered piece. It literally goes with anything and everything! These pictures really don’t do it justice, so head over to Taudrey to get a better look at it!!

Autumn Plaid

Top: c/o Love On a Hanger // Scarf: Nordstrom // Jeans: Old – Love the distressed options here // Boots: Franco Sarto ‘Linden’ (now on sale!) // Bag: Tory Burch //

Hat: Forever 21 // Bracelets: c/o Taudrey ‘Navy Tassel’ Set //

Confession. I have literally worn stripes for a week straight. Everything I have been wearing and everything I have been buying are striped. Don’t be surprised if you see stripes on the blog all week long. I am completely, 100% stripe obsessed.

What’s better than stripes? Stripes AND plaid. Duh! It’s another one of my favorite combos, and you will often find me mixing the two. This top from Love On a Hanger, has quickly become one of my favorites. I am loving this longer top trend and adore the side slit up the side of the sweet striped option.  Paired with a autumn toned plaid scarf and a floppy hat, this was the perfect outfit for a walk in the park on a beautiful fall day!

Checkered Dress: Look 2 – Weekend

Jacket: Gentle Fawn ‘Intrepid’ Jacket c/o // Dress: Sweetest Stitch ‘Lovely Look’ Dress c/o  //

Boots: BP ‘Trolley’ Booties // Hat: Nordstrom // Bag: Deux Lux ‘Mae Hobo’ c/o // Ring: Kendra Scott// Necklace: Taudrey ‘Mini Coin Pineapple Necklace’ c/o //

You might remember seeing this dress a few weeks ago when I showed you how I wore it to work (here). There’s nothing like a versatile dress that you can style for work and the weekend!  A checkered dress is a fun and easy print to mix and match for different occasions. This option from Sweetest Stitch is easily one of my favorites. The shirtdress style makes it flattering and easy to wear and you can’t go wrong with black and white! For a Friday night date night, I paired it with an easy trench, my go to booties and of course a hat!

Patterned Joggers

Top: Stem ‘V-neck’ tank // Pants: Target ‘Tapered Joggers’ in Navy  // Jacket: Old – similar here and here // Shoes: Jack Rogers ‘Lauren’ in white // Necklace: Mini Coin Crystal Necklace c/o Taudrey // Bag: Tory Burch ‘Perry’ tote – similar here for less // Hat: Target// Bracelets:

‘Roman Numeral Cuff’ c/o Taudrey and Forever 21 ‘Faux Stone Cuff’ //

This outfit was the perfect outfit for traveling when Ernie and I went on our mini-moon to Victoria, Canada at the beginning of the month. Soft jogger pants are my new go-to when I know I will be spending lots of time in a car or on a plane. This patterned pair caught my eye at Target. I loved the color combo and fun print and the price couldn’t be beat (under $25)! Pairing them with a white tank and a denim jacket (it was much cooler in Victoria than I expected), was the perfect comfy and casual outfit for our day of traveling and our first night out!
