September 2018 Top Ten

It’s a bit late, but I’m finally sharing September’s Top 10! I’m not sure how I forgot this post as I love sharing what you guys are loving! Lots of sweaters and layering pieces this month in anticipation of the the colder weather to come!

10. Textured Cardigan

This cozy cardigan was one of my favorite finds last month! It comes in 3 great colors and is currently on sale for under $20! I paired it with shorts (this AGOLDE pair will forever be my favorites!) early in the month, but have been pairing it with jeans and booties and over dresses as the weather has cooled off!

9. Free People Ottoman Tunic 

Nobody does a fall sweater like Free People! This option was one of my favorites last year and I love that they brought it back in even more color options this year! The great thing about this piece is that it can be worn with jeans or worn as a sweater dress! I love pairing it with over the knee boots for a chic fall look!

8. Ribbed Top

This sweater is such a steal at under $40! It comes in a few color options and is such a cozy piece! I was drawn to the orange because it’s such a fun color for fall! How cute does this color look paired with leopard boots?

7. Leopard Cardigan

Leopard has been one of my favorite trends this fall…but really, isn’t leopard a neutral? This sweater has been coming in and out of stock and it’s no wonder why! It’s such a great fall piece! Check out more leopard sweater options here.

6. Chenille Cable Knit Cardigan

A chenille sweater might be at the top of my fall must have list. There is nothing cozier! This cardigan is SO soft and I love the neutral color. It goes with anything and everything!

5. Lace Tank Top

A pretty lace tank top is a great closet staple. This option is currently sold out in this color, but comes in a ton of other great color choices!

4. Distressed “Mom” Jeans

These jeans are my current favorite! They are so comfortable and have just the right amount of stretch and distressing! The best part? The price tag won’t break the bank!

3. Camo Sweatshirt

This oversized camo sweatshirt was one of my favorites last year and I was excited to see it back in stock this fall. Camouflage is another trend I am loving this fall and a camouflage sweatshirt is a great low-key way to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe!

2. Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater

This sweater is the ultimate fall sweater! I love the color, the oversized turtleneck and the chunky rib knit.

1. Striped Midi Cardigan 

By far the most popular item from September, this midi cardi is a must have. I love the longer length and the stripes!

AUGUST 2018 Top Ten

Happy September!

I have been SO MIA lately! I’ve had a difficult time transitioning back into the classroom after summer vacation. I LOVE my kiddos this year, but have definitely struggled with balancing my job and blogging. I had been feeling very overwhelmed and down on myself for not having time for the blog, but when I took I step back, I realized how important it is to give myself grace. Transitioning back into working two jobs has been more difficult than usual this year, but I think I’ve finally come to the realization that it’s OKAY for me to take a step back and take a little time off to refocus. I am feeling refreshed and more than ready to return to my passion project, Twenties Girl Style! Please be patient with me as I continue to transition back into my schedule. I hope to start bringing you fresh content later this month!

This twist back sweater is so flattering! It’s a great way to show off a little skin in the colder months without showing too much! I think my favorite part about this sweater is the stripes! I love the color combo too!!

9. Pearl Cuff Joggers

These joggers are everything! From their gorgeous shade of pink to the sweet pearl cuff detailing. I love the feminine touch that the pearls add! I also love the price tag…these cozy bottoms are only $32 and fully stocked!

8. Pocket Henley 

This henley is so good! I’ve had a huge crush on all things yellow lately, so the moment I saw this top, I knew I needed it! I love tops like this for the classroom! They are so easy to wear and style to work, but can be transitioned to date night or the weekend! Snag it now on sale for just $30!

7. Hooded Cardigan

6. Colorblock Sweater 

I love love LOVE this sweater! The color combo is absolute perfection. I can’t even imagine a more fun or perfect mix of colors! The one thing to note about this sweater is that it’s on the shorter size. I’m wearing a US 4 and it fits perfectly, but if I re-ordered, I might have sized up for a more oversized fit! 5. Adidas Flashback Sneakers 

Comfy, neutral sneakers that you can wear to the gym or on the weekend! The best part about these? They are under $100! As a teacher, I also love wearing sneakers in the classroom on Fridays. These are PERFECT because 1. they are super comfortable and 2. they go with everything!

4. Ribbed Sweater 

Who doesn’t love a cozy sweater to live in during the fall? I snagged this one the moment I saw it. I’ve had a huge obsession with ribbed sweaters lately!

3, Long Knit Duster Cardigan 

It looks like many of you are anticipating fall sweater weather just as much as I am because this sweater was so popular in August! I love it so much, I snagged it in two colors! 2. Boucle Balloon Sleeve Sweater

This sweater is only $20 and a dupe of a much pricier option. I love that you can get the look for less without breaking the bank! I ordered this one in a small and now want it in all four colors! It’s the perfect piece for chilly fall days!

These joggers are the BEST…it’s no wonder they were so popular in August! The come in pink and grey and are the perfect cozy pair to take into fall with you!

 

April’s Top Ten

Happy May first! Today marks the start of my favorite time of year. May-August are my favorite months and my summer break will be here before I know it! There is nothing I love more than shorts and sundress weather!

Today I am sharing the top ten selling items from the month of March. Many of the top sellers were pieces I took on vacation with me that are perfect for a getaway or the upcoming months! Check out the most popular items below!

10. Peplum Tee

So nice, I bought it twice! I love this under $35 peplum tee so much that I picked it up in two colors! It’s definitely oversized, I sized down and am wearing an XS here! It’s such a comfy piece and is easy to layer!

9. Wrap Around Espadrille

These wrap around espadrilles come in 5 colors and are under $100! I love the neutral color…they will go with everything this spring and summer!

8. Eyelet Smock Top

This sweet little eyelet top made the list last month and it’s no surprise it’s a top seller again for April! It’s under $50 and also comes in black! It’s such a sweet spring piece!

 

7. Tie Front Mini Dress

I’ve been yellow obsessed lately so I had to pick up this linen dress for my trip to Mexico! The quality is amazing for the under $50 price tag! It also comes in a pretty coral and a fun polka dot print!

 

6. Wide Leg Cropped Pants

I shared these pants on the blog last week. I’ve worn them on vacation and in the classroom. I love a piece that is comfy and versatile! What’s even better? That they are on sale for $30!

5. Pink Bandana

I am loving tying bandana’s in my hair lately, and this pink printed option is so cute! I’ve found so many fun ways to style this cutie, from tying my hair up with it to adding it to a bag for a fun pop of color!

4. Denim Cutoffs

Another repeat from last month! These shorts are spendy, but definitely worth the splurge! The fit is amazing and I love that they are slightly longer in the back for full booty coverage! The leg is also a little wider, making them SO flattering on! I don’t know about you, but there is nothing that I love more than when I find a great pair of denim shorts! I will be wearing these all spring and summer long!

 

3. Brixton ‘Joanna’ Straw Hat 

This hat is HANDS DOWN my favorite! I’ve had it for 3 years and wear it all the time in the spring and summer! It’s even done some traveling with me and has held it’s shape after being stuffed in my suitcase! I’m considering picking up a backup option because I see this hat being one of my closet staples for a long time to come!

2. White Slide Sandals

When I started seeing these sandals pop up everywhere, I knew I needed them! I love that while they look like a much pricier designer pair, they are actually under $100. They are very comfortable and a great shoe for traveling to the beach as they go with everything and are easy to slide on and off. They come in a bunch of colors too, but I love the pop of white for spring and summer!

 

1. Oh Hey Vacay Tee

Who doesn’t love a graphic tee? This one is SO FUN for vacation and currently on sale for just $7! I took this to Mexico with me and it was the top seller for the month of April. March’s Top Ten

10. Embellished Slide Sandal

These sandals are from last year, but the have been restocked for this spring and summer and are better than ever! These were my most worn shoes last year…cute and comfy!

9. Striped Peplum Tee

This peplum tee is under $40, has a flattering fit and comes in 9 color options! It’s one of my favorite tops to take from work to the weekend because it is so easy to layer! I wore it to work this week with a pair of white skinny jeans and these bow mules (pictured above). I will swap the white jeans out for my favorite distressed pair and have an easy weekend look!

8. Levi’s Mile High Super Skinny Jeans

I wear my medium wash Levi’s so frequently, that when I saw this lighter pair, I knew they would be a great option for the warmer months ahead! It’s no wonder this dress was a top seller thins month! It’s is SO flattering! It comes in 8 colors and is under $60! I would recommend sizing up (I ordered a small!). With how versatile this piece is, it’s now one of my closet essentials!
