Although it’s starting to warm up, it’s still winter and still cold. It warmed up to 60 degrees this weekend, and I was in heaven. Is there anything better than an unexpected warm day after a freezing winter?? The weather is hovering in the high 40’s – low 50’s and I can’t help but start breaking out my spring pieces!

This romper is one of my favorite recent finds. I love the sweet spring details, like the floral print and ruffle detailing, but also love that it’s long sleeve, making this the perfect piece to transition into warmer weather! I couldn’t help but bust it out this weekend! I paired it with my favorite moto jacket and some sweet mules for date night. It would look just as cute with a great pair of booties or even over the knee boots if it’s chillier evening! In the spring, I plan on pairing it with a denim jacket and espadrilles.

If you are looking for a great pair of mules, I highly recommend these beauties. The studded detailing is SO pretty and they are so easy to dress up or down! I also love that they add a little pep to a casual outfit!

The holiday season is here and with it comes all of the holiday festivities! Unfortunately, the holiday season also means COLD. It’s been freezing outside lately, making getting dressed a little more difficult. I want to look cute and festive, without sacrificing warmth this holiday season! When shopping, I’ve been looking for winter basics with a twist. Pieces that are easy to layer, cozy and warm, but also have a unique touch that makes them stand out! One of my go to’s for basics with a twist is the Topshop brand at Nordstrom! They carry my favorite closet basics, but always put a unique spin on them! I also love their on trend pieces that are easy to wear but still make a statement! One of the reasons I love shopping at Nordstrom, is because they carry the brand I love, like Topshop! It’s always easy to find what I’m looking for!

This Topshop cardigan sweater is a gorgeous shade of green, making it perfect for the holidays! It’s an easy piece to dress up or down, but what really makes it unique is the fun balloon sleeves. This unique spin on a classic style makes for a stand out piece that makes a statement without being too over the top! Pair this over a black mini dress with heeled booties for a party or style it over jeans and a tee for a more laid back affair.

My tee, jeans and booties are other winter basics I’ve added to my wardrobe this season, that each have their own twist on a classic style! I’ve been living in this under $30 twist front tee! It’s the perfect basic for layering, but the twist at the front adds a pretty little detail that I love! This pair of denim is AMAZING. They fit like a glove, are slightly cropped (perfect if you are under 5’4) and are high waisted…a twist on classic denim that I hope is here to stay! It also doesn’t hurt that they are under $100! Last but not least, my new mule booties. Closed at the front and open at the back, this is a shoe I know I will be wearing all year long!

Today’s post is in collaboration with Nordstrom, but all opinions are my own!

Palm Print

Dress: Nordstrom // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff  // Jacket: Similar // Shoes: Tory Burch //
 Sunnies: illesteva //

The moment I saw this dress, I ordered it immediately. I mean pink and a palm print? Does it get any better? This will be my dress of summer! It’s so easy to throw on and dress up or down. I paired it with a denim jacket (that ended up around my waist because it was too hot) and gladiator sandals for a more dressed down look.

Seaside Splendor

Swimsuit: ModCloth, similar here and two piece top and bottom // Coverup: Nordstrom, also wore this one // Hat: Nordstrom, currently on sale! //

Guys.

I can’t tell you how much I rather be HERE than heading to work on this Monday morning! I’m definitely missing the beach today!

I’ve been saving this post for this amazing swimsuit to come back in stock! It finally did this weekend, but it’s already almost sold out AGAIN. If you are as obsessed with it as I am, head over to the site and get on the re-stock list…they re-stock frequently, thank goodness!

The moment I saw this suit, I fell in love. I stalked the website frequently and when I finally got the re-stock alert (at like 6am might I add), I ordered it IMMEDIATELY. It’s literally the most perfect one piece! The top is adjustable, so you can make it as wide as you like, but because I am on the smaller side, I opted to keep it pretty closed, as I don’t have much to flaunt. There are two ties in the back (one at the top and one mid-back) to make sure it all stays in place. The bottom offers pretty moderate coverage…nothing too cheeky going on here! It’s a really comfortable swimsuit for being a one piece (ie no awkward pulling or tugging).

If one pieces aren’t your thing, but you are obsessed with the print, it also comes in a SUPER cute two piece which I have linked below!
