Knit Dress (Comes in 3 colors) //Bag, Similar Here // Karen Walker Sunnies // Madewell Denim Jacket, More Denim Jacket Options Here // GREATS “Royale” Sneaker, More White Sneakers Here

There is no better spring essential than a comfy knit dress. It is a staple in my wardrobe for teaching and the weekend! It’s casual enough to be paired with sneakers and a denim jacket for Saturday errands, but easy enough to dress up a bit with espadrilles for a day at work.

This option is incredibly comfortable, made of the softest knit fabric, and I’ve never met a piece of striped clothing that I didn’t love. This cutie also comes in navy and berry, but I’ve been on a total pink kick lately and opted for this soft blush option. I love the rolled up sleeves and the tie at the waist which makes this option more flattering. I went with my regular size (XS) and love the fit, however it may be a tad short for work. I would recommend sizing up for length. I plan on ordering the navy to wear with a green cargo jacket and sneakers or espadrilles to work (yes, I’ve already planned it out!).

Get the Look

The first official day of spring is just a few weeks away and I could not be more ready for it! I am beyond ready to put my coats and scarves away and pull out my mini dresses and sandals! I’ve recently been adding spring pieces to my wardrobe that will be perfect for the warmer months. I’ve been on the hunt for lightweight dresses and tops in pastels and neutrals and fresh denim for the new season. At the very top of my list? A great pair of espadrille platforms/wedges….my favorite spring and summer shoe!

One thing I love about a great pair of espadrilles is that I can easily take them from work to the weekend. I find espadrille wedges and platforms much more comfortable than a typical heel or wedge and LOVE them for teaching! When I set out to look for a new pair for the upcoming season, I headed straight for the Halogen section at Nordstrom. Halogen, an brand exclusive to Nordstrom, is known for it’s high quality but affordable work to weekend styles that are on trend and the perfect mix of modern and feminine. The moment I laid eyes on these platform espadrille sandals, I knew they would be the perfect spring update to my shoe collection!

This Halogen espadrille wedge is SO comfortable and I love the price point! At under $100, these cuties are comparable to a much pricier option, allowing you to get the look for less. They come in 4 great colors, but I opted for the blush, finding it the perfect shade for spring! These shoes are not only comfortable and affordable, but also super versatile. Dress them up for work or a wedding or dress them down for a lunch date and shopping with the girls!

If you are loving espadrille wedges and platforms as much as I am, check some more options I am currently loving from Nordstrom!

Pom Sweater // Denim // White Mules // Bag, Similar Here

Happy Tuesday!

I must apologize for the lack of posts lately! I’ve had a hard time balancing both blogging and teaching this winter. I’ve always been satisfied with just sharing outfit posts, but recently I have been wanting to branch out and share more creative content. The trouble is, I’ve found myself in a creative rut this winter. If I’m being totally honest, it’s been difficult for me to even write the blog posts. I still love sharing my outfits with you, but when it comes to writing about them I feel at a loss for words. I feel excited for spring because I think a change of season is just what I need to bring a fresh perspective to Twenties Girl Style. I’ve got a few ideas rolling around in my head and I can’t wait to see where they take me. Stay tuned, friends!!

Now on to my outfit…you’ve already seen the cardigan version of this sweater. I can’t get enough of it. Of course when I saw the pullover sweater option, I knew I needed it. This cozy piece is perfect for this time of year! The sleeves add a fun touch and the nude color is a great transition color, but the chunky knit will keep you warm in the last days of winter!

One of my favorite new shoe purchases has to be these white mules. They are just $23 and SO comfortable! These are the perfect shoes for my teacher friends, and I love that I can take them from work to the weekend! Plus, you can’t beat the price!

Can you believe it’s MARCH?? That means it’s time for another monthly round up of top sellers from Twenties Girl Style. This month was all about transition pieces! It’s obvious a lot of us had the same thing in mind…warm weather. I’ve definitely been shopping for spring and this round up shows! You will notice a lot of overlap as you browse the top 10 bestsellers. But to give you a little preview? Shoes, shoes and more shoes. Almost half of this round up is made up of shoes!

10. Floral Wrap Frill Romper

The sweetest romper ever. I was so excited to add this cutie to my wardrobe and think it will transition perfectly into warmer weather. I love the floral print and the ruffle hem. Layering it up now with booties and jackets and sweaters, but I can’t wait to pair it with some espadrilles this spring!

9. Cutout Sports Bra

This sports bra is SO comfortable. It’s only $15 and comes in 5 colors. I will definitely be snagging a few more this month!

8. Blouson Sleeve Knit Cardigan

I love this chunky knit cardi! It’s such a pretty shade of grey, but also comes in white. The blouson, or balloon sleeves, give it a fun touch. It’s a bit oversized…I sized down!

7. Crochet Ruffle Dress

This crochet ruffle dress was perfect for the month of love! It will also be perfect for upcoming weddings this spring and summer! It has the cutest side cutouts and a flirty ruffle hem. See the full post on how I styled it for date night here.

6. Bow Mule

I own these bow mules in TWO colors and I am so obsessed. They are super comfortable and perfect for teaching. They come in 6 colors, are $70 and have a ton of positive reviews!

5. Lancer Sneakers

I’ve been eyeing these sneakers for SO long and finally purchased them this month…and they are probably my top pick for February! These sneakers are SO comfortable and I love the color. I’ve worn them a few times in the classroom and they passed the ultimate test…teaching aka on my feet all day. They come in 7 great colors and are under $100!

4. Pink Pointy Toe Mule

At just $23, it’s no wonder these pretty pink mules made their way to the top this month! You know I love a good mule, and apparently so do you guys as they are dominating the top 10 this month! If you haven’t tried the trend, I highly recommend picking these up as they don’t break the bank and are a great way to try out this style. Plus, they are the prettiest shade of pink (they also come in black!).

3. Peplum Tee

One of my favorite peplum tees from last spring was re-stocked and I already snagged it in a few more colors. This tee is super comfy and I can’t get enough of the peplum fit! It comes in 8 options ( 2 striped and 6 solids) and is just $39.

2.  Cozy Ribbed Pullover

This pullover lives up to it’s name…it’s the COZIEST! It’s currently on sale for just $35, so hurry and snag one! Sizes and color options are limited! I picked up this super soft pullover in two colors and have gotten so much wear out if it!

1.  Studded Loafer Mule (see closer look above)

The top pick of the month? These gorgeous mules! They really are a showstopper with their gorgeous studded detailing. They come in 3 colors and are the perfect shoe to add to your closet this spring. I’ve worn them to work a few times and always get so many compliments on them. My favorite way to wear them is paired with jeans and tee. They add a fun pop to a basic look.
