Valentine’s Date Night

Red Ruffle Crochet Dress // Leopard Coat // Ankle Strap Sandals // Karen Walker Sunnies // Bag, Similar Here

It’s the week of love and I’ve been wearing alllll the red and pink! I ordered this sweet red ruffle crochet mini dress for a wedding this past weekend and I was bummed it didn’t arrive in time. It might be the cutest little red dress to ever land in my closet! From the flirty hem to the ruffle detailing on the shoulders, this mini turns out all the charm. I love that it can be dressed up or down. I can’t wait to wear it to a wedding this summer, but thought it would also make the perfect Valentine’s date night dress!

This leopard coat is SO cozy and under $50! It’s the perfect piece to dress up, but it also looks super cute with distressed denim, a white tee and a pair of sneaks. Pairing it over my little red dress not only ensures I stay cozy, but also adds a fun pop!

If you are looking for a great pair of ankle strap sandals, you have to snag these! A great pair of heeled sandals are a closet staple as they can be paired with just about anything! They come in a TON of color options (including pink…which I definitely have my eye on!), but I love the nude because of how versatile it is!

Valentine’s Day is less than a week away! So far my husband and I are planning on doing something at home. Spending a night in, making dinner together and watching a movie sounds like the perfect low-key way to spend Valentine’s Day. With opposite work schedules, we often miss each other on the weekdays, so time spent at home is definitely my favorite!

This ruffle tee is the perfect low key Valentine’s attire. Not only is it the perfect shade of pink, but it’s also just $35! Pair it with jeans, white skinnys or a skirt depending on what you are doing for a fun and flirty Valentine’s look!

Happy Tuesday!

I hope everyone had a great 3 day weekend! My 3 days was spent relaxing, eating good food and spending quality time with my loved ones! E and I tried fondue for the first time (using this SUPER easy recipe found off Pinterest). It turned out delicious and we used minimal ingredients…something I recommend when you are Fondue’ing for the first time!

Our first married Valentine’s was perfect. We made a late brunch of delicious waffles, watched a rom-com, took a nap, took our puppy for a walk and then went out to dinner. This dress was absolutely perfect for the occasion! I love that it is simple, but the lace and open back spice it up a bit! I styled it very simply, with lace up flats and a white bag. I could have easily paired it with heels and a sparkly necklace to dress it up a bit more, but wanted a more low-key romantic look!
