Floral + White

Top: Forever 21 (old) // Skirt: Topshop ‘Scallop Hem’ // Shoes: Dolce Vita ‘Nessah’ //

Bag: Rebecca Minkoff ‘Mab Mini’ (Currently on sale!!) // Sunnies: Illesteva via Ditto // Necklace:  Taudrey ‘Mini Coin Pineapple’ necklace c/o //

This month, I have challenged myself to not buy anything new and get better at shopping my own closet. This can be the extreme challenge for those of us who love to shop (hello, my fellow shopaholics), but I was excited to pull out some pieces that hadn’t seen the light of day in awhile (and to save some money after the damage the Nordstrom sale did to my wallet last month).

This top was one I picked up at Forever 21 a few years ago, but you can get the look by shopping some of these fabulous floral options here. Typically, Forever 21 pieces are not ones that have a very long closet life, but I was still drawn in to the bright floral print and flowy fit, so this one continues to make it past my closet purges. Pairing it with my favorite scallop hem skirt was a must. The bright yellow and blue really popped against the crisp white! I kept things fresh by adding my favorite white crossbody and my Illesteva sunnies courtesy of Ditto.

If you haven’t heard of Ditto, you are missing out!! Probably my new favorite subscription service, Ditto allows you to try out new sunnies for just $19 a month! This is the perfect solution to those who love to change out your sunglass style often or if you are in the market for a new pair but are not sure of the style you want! Try Ditto out with the code ‘TWENTIESGIRLSTYLE’ for your first month free!

Anybody remember that feeling of finding your first day of school outfit? Back to school shopping was always my favorite time of year, and I got practically giddy as I laid out what I would be wearing that very first day back, even if it was a few weeks…or a month in advance. Being a teacher, I still get to have a “first day of school” outfit and I’m not going to lie, I LOVE it. When I tried on this Antique Garden shift dress, I had that same feeling I used to get when I was younger…this is the one! It may be a month and a half in advance, but I will definitely be wearing this sweet printed shift when the first bell of the year rings in September!

Please tell me I’m not the only one who picks/picked out first day of school outfits so far in advance!

Exciting news!

Today the Nordstrom Anniversary sale OFFICIALLY begins!

I will be having my favorite sale picks all week, but you can start shopping some of them now below!

Happy shopping!

Repeat Offender: Scallops + Tassels

Top: Antique Garden ‘Cannes’ Top  c/o (only $24!) //  Skirt: Topshop via Nordstroms ‘Scallop Hem’ skirt // Clutch: Big Buddha Tassel Pouch // Shoes: Old – identical option here // Bracelets: Forever 21 ‘Faux Stone Cuff’ + Bauble Bar ‘Pave Carrie’ Cuff

You may remember seeing this outfit here. I wore this exact combo fairly recently, but who isn’t guilty of re-wearing their favorite outfits? I may have mentioned my love for this Antique Garden Boutique top on the last post, but I have fallen in love with it even more since! It’s seriously the perfect top for any occasion, and perfect for summer as it is so light and airy. Plus, it comes in 3 fabulous colors and is only $24! It’s a no brainer to pair it with my favorite scalloped skirt. Be prepared to see this little number often…I’ve had it on major repeat lately! For my repeat wear this time, I traded out my 4th of July accessories and incorporated some heeled sandals and a fun tassel pouch. Instant date night attire!

Fun tassel pouches have been one of my obsessions this summer. They are such a fun way to add a special touch to any outfit! My favorite brand has to be Star Mela! If you are looking for a fun clutch or even cross body bag with tassels, embroidery and bright colors you must check them out!
