Happy Tuesday!

I’m coming off of a long and relaxing 3 day weekend and ready to take on the short work week! I don’t get many lazy days, and yesterday I decided to stay in comfy clothes, not do my hair or makeup and spend the day watching Netflix. Sometimes days like this…especially when it is frigid outside…can be totally blissful. Anybody else enjoy a day like this?

An all black ensemble is one of the easiest outfits for the winter time. Anybody else struggle with dressing on those chilly days, where really all you are after is warmth? Black skinnies and a black long sleeve are so easy to accessorize! One of my favorite ways to accessorize? Pairing it with a colorful coat. I love this option because it sticks with neutral tones, but definitely pulls the outfit together!

White Tunic + Ripped Denim

Top: c/o Shein // Pants: BLANKNYC // Shoes: Sam Edelman ‘Paige’ // Necklace: Bauble Bar // Bag: Tory Burch  // Sunnies: Ray-Ban  //

These photos were taken on my vacation last week! I didn’t get a chance to photograph many of my outfits as we were always on the go, but I loved snapping this look in Arizona! It was a tad chillier than expected, so I paired this tunic top with ripped denim and my favorite booties. I love that this top can so easily transition from dress to top, and at under $20, I highly recommend it! I can’t wait to wear it this summer over a swimsuit or with lace up sandals!

This weeks blogger of the week from last weeks link-up is Onyinye of Modavracha! I am obsessed with her amazingly chic all black holiday look! Paired with a glitzy clutch, this is an outfit I want to wear out ASAP! You look stunning, sweet girl!

Fringe Cape

Top: Nordstrom // Pants: DSTLD // Cape: Nordstrom // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Shoes: Louise et Cie, similar here // Necklace: Taudrey ‘Twenties Girl Style’ necklace // Sunnies: Ray-ban ‘Erika’ //

This cape has probably been one of my favorite purchases this winter. I love that it goes with anything and everything and is perfect for a cold winter day! I love how easy an all black ensemble is, but throwing this cape over the top and adding a pop of red really puts the finishing touches on this outfit!

 Happy Thursday!!

I took a mini hiatus from blogging this week to catch up on life. The end of a trimester for a teacher is just as chaotic as finals for a college student. I finally finished report cards and am so happy there are just two school days left! Both my kids and I are ready for a well deserved holiday vacation!

I picked up this sweater a few weeks ago, completely drawn to the fun print! It’s such an easy to style piece, and I paired it with a simple pair of black skinnies to really make it pop!

I am absolutely obsessed over this cute bag! There is something so fun and festive about a pop of red over the holiday season, and a little red bag is the perfect way to go about it! Shop some of the cutest red bags here
