Yesterday the weather was in the 40s and it had me craving spring. It’s funny how 40 degrees can feel SO warm when you’ve been living in 20 degree weather for the past few months! I am so ready for sunshine and warm weather!
Shopping has been tricky lately as I’m drawn to all of the pretty spring pieces popping up in the new arrivals section, but know I won’t be able to wear them (at least without 10 extra layers) for a few more months. I’ve been trying to put pieces in my cart that I know I can wear now and transition into warmer weather. The moment I saw this pretty off the shoulder sweater I knew I could take it into spring with me! The color is the perfect neutral shade! Cream goes with everything and I love that I can wear it with darker colors now and pastels in the spring! I’ve styled it with faux leather leggings and denim (see below) and plan on pairing it with a skirt soon! I love a good versatile piece! Especially when it’s on sale…snag this cutie for under $40!
Is it just me, or does winter seem to drag on forever? I am so ready for some sunshine and warmer temps! Lucky for me, I do love winter style. Cozy pieces that layer easily make the frigid temps more bearable! Today I am sharing my favorite cozy staples that will help get you through the rest of winter!
Oversized Fleece Pullover: I have been LIVING in this pullover, and it looks like many others have been too as this has been a top seller this winter! This is my favorite piece for throwing on before I head out the door. It’s also easy to layer up or down, depending on how cold it is. On the chilliest day, I often pair it with a long sleeve tee and top it off with a down vest or coat!
Down Parka: This is HANDS DOWN my most worn winter piece, as I rarely leave the house without it! It’s so warm, comes with a hood and is the perfect length! It’s a little pricey, but definitely worth every penny as I have gotten so much wear out of it and will wear it for the next few years!
Beanies: A pom beanie is my favorite winter accessory. Topping an outfit off with a beanie is a great way to stay warm and tame crazy winter hair (anybody else deal with this??).
UGG Boots: A few weeks ago, I shared my love for UGGs and how I take them from a day of errands to a relaxed night out. UGGs are my number one winter staple. There is nothing I love more than slipping my feet into a cozy pair of UGGs on a chilly day! They are beyond comfortable and do a great job of keeping me warm! Nordstrom is always my first stop when checking for a new pair of UGG boots! They have the best options for women, men and kids and are always adding the newest selections from UGG to their new arrivals! My favorites are the Classic Mini, which will take me right into spring, and the Bailey Button, which can be rolled up or down!

Another day, another fuzzy sweater. If you saw my post last week, you know I’m currently obsessed with fuzzy sweaters. It’s such a feminine way to stay cozy when the temperature drops!
The moment I saw this blush option, I knew I had to add it to my winter wardrobe, and let me tell you, I am SO glad that I did! This sweater, appropriately named the Dream sweater, is just about the softest thing I have ever worn. I love a good blush piece, and this one is even prettier in person (it also comes in a gorgeous powder blue and chartreuse!). It’s a versatile piece and I’ve already gotten my fair share of wear out of it, pairing it with everything from jeans, overalls, skirts and knotted over dresses.
Have you added a fuzzy sweater to your wardrobe this winter?
There is something about a fuzzy sweater that makes me feel like Cher from Clueless…and I don’t mind. There is no better way to stay cozy while looking chic in the wintertime! I snagged this one for just $22 and it’s such a steal! The slouchy oversized fit makes it perfect for wearing on or off the shoulder. It also comes in a gorgeous shade of plum, but I love the grey because it’s neutral (duh) and goes with everything!
This sweater is so easy to dress up or down. It would be the perfect contender for Valentine’s day paired with a skirt or over a dress. I dressed it down for a more casual look, pairing it with my favorite distressed denim for a date night. When we got home, I swapped my jeans for some joggers and this sweater made for the perfect cozy piece to snuggle up and watch a movie! A piece that can be worn with anything and everything is a winner in my book!
Rounding up a few more fuzzy sweaters below, because every girl needs one in their closet!
