Fuzzy Sweater

Sweater // Denim, more sizes here // Mules // Necklace // Bag, Similar Here

There is something about a fuzzy sweater that makes me feel like Cher from Clueless…and I don’t mind. There is no better way to stay cozy while looking chic in the wintertime! I snagged this one for just $22 and it’s such a steal! The slouchy oversized fit makes it perfect for wearing on or off the shoulder. It also comes in a gorgeous shade of plum, but I love the grey because it’s neutral (duh) and goes with everything!

This sweater is so easy to dress up or down. It would be the perfect contender for Valentine’s day paired with a skirt or over a dress. I dressed it down for a more casual look, pairing it with my favorite distressed denim for a date night. When we got home, I swapped my jeans for some joggers and this sweater made for the perfect cozy piece to snuggle up and watch a movie! A piece that can be worn with anything and everything is a winner in my book!

Rounding up a few more fuzzy sweaters below, because every girl needs one in their closet!

Just a few weeks ago, I shared my ultimate winter essentials. At the top of the list? UGG boots! I also mentioned that I will forever be an UGG girl. There is nothing compared to a cozy pair of UGG boots in the winter when it is freezing out! I rely on my UGG boots to keep my feet nice and toasty all day long, taking them from morning errands to dinner and a movie!

Every year I invest in a new pair of UGG boots that I end up living in for the rest of winter. Nordstrom is always my go to when shopping for UGG boots because of their wide selection. They have so many UGG styles and always carry the newest selection! I love my classic mini boots! They are easy to wear, durable and so comfortable. This mini version is easy to slip on and off and goes with everything! There are so many color options too, making me want to snag a second pair of these cozy booties!

As I mentioned above, I wear my UGG boots with everything! Last weekend, E and I woke up early to run some errands. I slipped on my classic mini’s with my faux leather leggings (these are the BEST) to grab coffee and cross some things off of our to do list. Later in the evening, I paired them with my distressed denim and a cozy sweater for a quick bite to eat before heading to the movie theater. I LOVE the versatility off my UGG boots and the fact that I don’t have to sacrifice comfort and warmth when getting dressed!

Happy New Year!

This is my first post of 2018! I’ve taken a little time off this winter break, and have enjoyed a little R&R with my hubby and pup!  My winter break has officially come to an end though and school is back in session January 3rd. I am definitely going to miss lazy mornings and my comfy clothes, but it will be nice to get back to a routine! I am excited for the new year and all of the new content I am planning to bring to the blog! Look for a post on the most popular items on Twenties Girl Style in 2017 later this week!

It has been SO cold here. I’ve been living in my coziest pieces and bundling up whenever I leave the house. I am looking for all of the ways to stay warm but still look cute! One of my favorite combos? A chunky, oversized sweater, a skirt and over the knee boots. Over the knee boots are one of my favorite ways to stay warm and toasty without losing the style factor. These boots are currently on sale and I have been wearing them non-stop! They come in a few different colors, but this color is so easy to style! It’s not too early to start thinking Valentine’s day, and this outfit is already on my list of contenders for a Valentine’s day date with E!

Stay Cozy in Winter Essentials

Christmas is over, and if you are like me, you’ve got a bunch of Christmas gift cards burning a hole in your pocket. With the official arrival of winter just last week, it’s absolutely freezing outside, and I only want to wear the coziest pieces when I leave the house. Therefore, when spending my Christmas gift cards, I’m looking for warm winter essentials that I know I will wear all season long!

At the top of my list? UGG boots! I will FOREVER be an UGG girl! Living in a colder climate during the winter, leaving the house in a pair of UGG boots makes the frigid temperatures more bearable. Nordstrom has a wide variety of UGG boots, which makes finding something you love that is stylish and cozy easy peasy. I usually go with the classic style, but opted for the Bailey button this year because I love that you can wear the cuff up or down!  Looking for something with a little more structure, but just as cozy? Give the Quincy boot or the Aysel a try! Browse a few more of my favorites below!

Another cozy winter essential? A fleece pullover! This oversized option has been on repeat since I got it earlier this month. In fact, I love it so much, I just used some of my Christmas gift cards to pick it up in pink! Other great fleece options include this zip up hoodie and this fleece vest, both of which are currently on sale!

This time of year it seems I top off every outfit with a beanie. There is no better way to ensure I’m going to stay warm when I head out the door! This double pom beanie is a fun option that adds a unique twist! Go classic with this oversized pom option or add a sweet touch with this bow beanie. Or state just how cold you are with a graphic beanie like this one (currently in my cart – it’s only $15) or this fun option!

What winter essentials will you be wearing this season?
