It’s no secret that I love Forever 21! From season to season, I always find the cutest on trend, seasonal finds! Two trends I am loving this year are overalls and plaid, so these overalls were a must! I love the crop fit and flare leg and how comfortable they are. I plan on wearing this exact combo in the classroom this fall. These overalls are just one of the reasons I love shopping at Forever 21. I can always find casual basics or on trend finds at really good price points. I love scoring items that work for weekends or the classroom too! Spring Staples with Walmart

Spring is approaching and I could not be more ready! I can’t wait for warm weather! I’ve slowly started to transition my wardrobe into the next season. Today I am sharing some pieces to wear now and into spring with Walmart!

Year after year, I get so excited for spring that I start wanting to dress for warmer weather.  The problem? The actual warmer temps haven’t arrived yet. I’ve found that buying pieces that I can wear now and into spring is the best way to go! I always look for fresh closet staples that can be layered up and layered down when the temps finally do warm up!

From season to season, Walmart has been one of the first places I look for freshening up my wardrobe! They carry everything from staples to on trend pieces with prices that don’t break the bank! I love that I can score budget friendly options without sacrificing style!

The pieces I snagged in my last Walmart order are some of my favorites to date! First up, this jacket is AMAZING! I think it’s such a cute find and a closet staple for any season! It comes in 3 colors and has the cutest slightly cropped fit. This is one that will take me from work to the weekend and the $23 price tag is pretty great too!

If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know I love a great pair of overalls. These have a slight boyfriend fit and I love the minimal distressing. I am 5’3 and these are the PERFECT cropped length on me! I love wearing them now with a sweater and booties and sneaks and a tee in the spring.

Speaking of tee’s, this one is a winner. Amazing quality, naturally oversized and under $7. I ordered it in a few different colors in mediums and smalls. Honestly, I like both sizing options! The size up is a bit boxier and oversized. I will report back on how they wash up!

15 Fourth of July Outfit Ideas

The 4th of July is one of my favorite days of the year. We usually spend the day on the lake, boating and swimming and then enjoy a barbecue followed by fireworks on the lake. I can’t wait! The holidays have arrived and I’m feeling all sorts of festive. I’ve pulled out all of my Christmas pieces and can’t help but wear at least some red or green daily! Plaid // Touches of red and/or green plaid is a great way to feel festive without going over the top! Chances are you already have a plaid top in your wardrobe! Layer it with a chunky knit cardigan or under a sweater. I also love wearing my plaid button downs under overalls or a pinafore dress.

Pops of Red: A neutral look paired with a pop of red is a fun and simple way to make a holiday statement. Stick to one red piece while keeping the rest of your look fairly neutral. A red hat, bag or cardigan are some of my favorite ways to incorporate this color. Feeling a bit bolder, go for a bright red lip to spread some Christmas cheer. I don’t wear lipstick very often, but a good red lip is ALWAYS fun this time of year!

Festive Winter Accessories: This is the easiest way to merry up your wardrobe. A fun printed scarf, beanie or even socks can add the perfect holiday touch to your look. It’s also a great way to stay nice and cozy!

Patterned Sweater: Add a patterned sweater to the mix. I like to pair mine with jeans or black skinnys and boots to keep it fun but simple! You can also size up to wear it with leggings or wear it as a dress. A patterned sweater is something that can also be dressed up or down too! It’s a versatile and cozy piece for this time of year!
