There is nothing I love more than a good long sleeve tee in the fall and winter. As someone whose body temp runs cold, I find myself freezing from October to March. I live in layers, piling on all the scarves and cozy knits just to stay warm. My base layer is ALWAYS a long sleeve tee. From work to the weekends, I live in my long sleeves, so it’s important that I have a variety of cute and comfy options on hand!

I am happy to report that I have found the ULTIMATE long sleeve tee at Nordstrom this year! In fact, I love it so much that I’ve already purchased it in 3 colors and plan on picking up a few more. One of the reasons I love shopping at Nordstrom is for their wide variety of items at varying price points! I am always sure to find things that I LOVE.

There is a lot to love about this shirt…a rounded neckline, soft fabric and a longer length just to name a few! I love that the longer length allows me to wear it with leggings (bum coverage!) and the split hem adds a cute detail! I’ve also been tucking in the back and tying up the front to really mix it up! If I haven’t already sold you on this perfect long sleeve tee, the price should do it. This cutie is just $19!!!!

For under $20, this basic is a total steal as I know I will get a ton of wear out of it! I thought I would show you 3 ways I have worn my 3 long sleeve tees! Look 1 is actually something I wore to work. I tucked my striped tee into the cutest corduroy skirt (under $50) and layered with a scarf (I also included tights for work!). I adore the stripes and plaid combo! For look 2, I paired my favorite base layer (jeans and a white tee…duh!) with the coziest cardigan. This is an easy outfit to recreate and could be worn to work by swapping the distressed denim for black pants or non-distressed skinny jeans. Look 3 might be my favorite. The longer length of this tee makes for the cutest layering piece. I love the pop of stripes peaking out from the sweater and it doesn’t hurt that it adds an extra layer of warmth!

It’s no secret that I am obsessed with kimonos! From spring to summer I throw them on over my favorite tanks and shorts or wear them as a swim cover up. They are easy to wear and spice up any jeans and tee combo. While perusing the Nordstrom website, I noticed SO many kimono options for fall! From velvet and fringe to rich fall hues, Nordstrom has you covered for taking this trend into the new season! 


Two kimono trends I’m loving for fall? Velvet and duster lengths! While I love bright floral options for spring and summer, a kimono in darker shades with burnout velvet is an easy way to transition your favorite white tank and jeans into the fall. I am obsessed with the floral print on this option. The color combo is gorgeous! 


A duster length kimono is the perfect way to make a statement! Take your basics up a notch by pairing them with longer length kimono. It’s a great way to layer as a gets cooler and I don’t know about you, but I always feel pretty fab with a long kimono trailing after me as I walk!

New fall arrivals have been hitting online stores, giving me the itch to shop, but while fall is just around the corner, it’s still over 100 degrees here! This makes wearing those new fall goodies just about impossible, unless you are up for sweating in your new sweater and boot combos! When browsing the new arrivals section at Nordstrom, I’ve been looking for pieces that I can wear now and transition easily into fall. Nordstrom has by far the best selection of trendy yet affordable items, and they get new arrivals DAILY. I recently picked up three tops and I don’t have to wait for the weather to change to wear them! They are the perfect pieces to wear now and in the fall and all three are under $50!  


Lace Cami – This gorgeous lace cami is under $30 and comes in 4 colors. It’s the perfect little tank to wear to date night on a hot summer night, but will be easy to transition to colder weather by pairing it with a cardi. My favorite way to wear a lacy cami in the fall and winter is paired with a pullover sweater so just a little lace peeks out! 


Lace Up Tee – The lace up trend was huge last year and it looks like it’s here to stay! This tee give off “cool girl” vibes with it’s deep v lace up and grommet detailing. It’s only $32 and comes in 6 great colors. Wear it now with shorts and layer it up in the fall. The lace up detailing gives a little something extra to your cardi and tee combo! 


Ruffle Bell Sleeve Top – Ruffles and bell sleeves? Yes please! This top has perfect flirty sleeves and a fun lace up detailing in the back. It’s lightweight enough that you can wear it now, but pair it with jeans, boots and a draped vest (like this one) in the fall!
