I can’t believe I forgot to share these fall looks! I took these photos back in November and never shared. This cozy chunky knit sweater is too good not to share! And even though it’s ALMOST a new season, I am still obsessed with this color combo!
What I love most about this sweater is the chunky knit! It’s SO cozy and I love the oversized sleeves. In the first look, I dressed it down with my favorite distressed skinnys and the cutest plaid jacket (that’s so warm and under $50, btw!). To dress it up a bit more, I paired it with this adorable corduroy mini skirt from Nell and Rose. I fell in love with the color and tortoise shell buttons on this one. It’s the perfect little fall and winter skirt that makes a statement without being too over the top! This look was topped off with the BEST over the knee boots! If you’ve been eyeing these, now is the time to snag them! They are my favorite winter boots! I did a whole post on them, which you can check out here. Get 30% off with code ASHLEY30.
If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know how much I LOVE this pair from Goodnight Macaroon. So much so that I own them in 2 colors, with the third color currently on their way to me! These boots are by far my most worn, especially in the fall and winter and I frequently get questions about them from you! Today I am sharing two outfits styling the two colors I currently own and some of my most frequently asked questions.
You can use code ASHLEY30 for 30% off your purchase at Goodnight Macaroon which includes these OTK boots!
Check out my thoughts and both looks below!
About the Boots: From the Goodnight Macaroon Website
Suede leather upper
PVC leather lining
Sizing: I would say these run a tad small. I am ALWAYS a 7, but went with the 38 which fits a size 7.5/8. This is a comfortable fit. However, I can’t wear super thick socks with them. This isn’t too much of a problem as I find these boots pretty warm, but if you plan on wearing cozy socks under these OTK’s, I would size up two sizes.
Summer vacay is officially here and I am ready for it! I took last week off from the blog to finish out the year with my kiddos. It was a great week, but also so hectic! Yesterday I had a training and finished “summerizing” my classroom. I am definitely ready for some time off!! My plans for this summer include working on the blog, spending time at the lake, and reading. There is nothing I love more than reading in the summertime and have already ordered a few new books to dive into. Any suggestions for great summer reads? Leave them below!
Speaking of summer, this dreamy little polka dot lace mini dress was made for summer! It’s light-weight and airy, but doesn’t lack in show stopping details. This dress is even prettier in person! From the gorgeous lace hem to the pretty polka dot mesh fabric, it’s a stunning piece that doesn’t break the bank. It’s only $60! This dress would be PERFECT for any brides out there! Think bridal shower, bachelorette or honeymoon, this flirty mini is sure to be a stand out!
SALE ALERT! It’s currently on sale for 30% off with code RESORT30, meaning you can get it for under $45!! Snag this cutie before it’s too late!
I must apologize for the lack of posts lately! I’ve had a hard time balancing both blogging and teaching this winter. I’ve always been satisfied with just sharing outfit posts, but recently I have been wanting to branch out and share more creative content. The trouble is, I’ve found myself in a creative rut this winter. If I’m being totally honest, it’s been difficult for me to even write the blog posts. I still love sharing my outfits with you, but when it comes to writing about them I feel at a loss for words. I feel excited for spring because I think a change of season is just what I need to bring a fresh perspective to Twenties Girl Style. I’ve got a few ideas rolling around in my head and I can’t wait to see where they take me. Stay tuned, friends!!
Now on to my outfit…you’ve already seen the cardigan version of this sweater. I can’t get enough of it. Of course when I saw the pullover sweater option, I knew I needed it. This cozy piece is perfect for this time of year! The sleeves add a fun touch and the nude color is a great transition color, but the chunky knit will keep you warm in the last days of winter!
One of my favorite new shoe purchases has to be these white mules. They are just $23 and SO comfortable! These are the perfect shoes for my teacher friends, and I love that I can take them from work to the weekend! Plus, you can’t beat the price!
